Attiré par l'odeur des châtaignes et des cèpes qui séchaient dans le deshydrateur, ce petit loir est venu me rendre visite. Je lui ai offert un peu de courge deshydratée qu'il est venu aussitôt goûter et qu'il a emportée. Je lui aussi laissé quelques châtaignes sèches qui ont disparues peu après. Depuis lui et sa petite famille doivent dormir car je ne le vois et je ne les entends plus.
Attracted by the smell of chestnuts and ceps drying in the dehydrator, this little loir came to visit me. I offered him a little dehydrated squash that he came to taste immediately and took away. I also left some dry chestnuts that disappeared soon after. Since he and his little family have to sleep because I do not see him and I do not hear them anymore.
Il n’y avait pas de cèpes dans cette forêt et comme je ne suis pas allé plus loin, je n’ai aucune idée de l’endroit où va ce chemin. D’après la carte IGN, il devrait mener à une ferme en ruine…
This path will remain unknown for me because I did not go further. There were no mushrooms in this forest of the Ardèche Mountains. According to the map it should lead to a ruined farmhouse.
Germany, Bavaria, Fürstenfeldbruck, the forest "Emmeringer Hölzl" near the city is a nature & landscape protection area crossed by many side arms of the small river "Amper" & has largely been left in its natural state.
The forest is also a great place to search for good quality & varieties of wild mushrooms, also it invites for long walks in the woods with its clean, fresh & spruce needle scented air.
Mushroom picking is only allowed for a reasonable quantity for private consumption, commercial picking is prohibited & will be punished ... if the collectors are caught.
Fürstenfeldbruck, located 32 kilometres west of Munich is well known for its impressive baroque monastery "Church of St. Mary".

Okay, Flickerland, this is a batch of 56 photos. They were all shot on 18 August 2013 in Bucharest.
Crețulescu Palace (Palatul Crețulescu in Romanian, alternative spelling "Kretzulescu") is a historic building near the Cișmigiu Gardens on the Știrbei Vodă street nr. 39 in Bucharest, Romania. It has been built for the Crețulescu family at the beginning of the 20th century, by Romanian architect Petre Antonescu (1873-1965).
Since 1972, it houses the headquarters of UNESCO's European Centre for Higher Education UNESCO-CEPES (known as CEPES after its French name, Centre Europeén pour l'enseignement supérieur).
I shot this walking home at the end of the day.
Germany, Munich, the Frauenkirche, full name "Cathedral of our blessed Lady", the cathedral of the Archbishop of Munich & Freising, is considered a symbol of the Bavarian State Capital.
The late Gothic red brick building, build from 1468 to 1488, the building's famous domes atop each tower were not built until 1525, the round chapel wreath is 109 mtr long, 40 mtr wide & 37 mtr high, the north tower is 98.57 mtr, the south tower is only 98.45 m high. The cathedral can hold around 20,000 people between two rows of 22 high octagon Pillars.
Photo taken from the 91 mtr high Renaissance steeple of the St. Peter's Church, once climbed the 306 steps to the viewing platform, it offers the best view over the city. If the weather conditions are good, you can see on the horizon the Alps Mountains about a 100 km away.
