Llandrindod, Maesyfed (Radnorshire), Powys ▪️ "When Henry de Winton, archdeacon of Brecon, was appointed rector of Llandrindod Wells in 1881, he ordered the construction of a large two-storey rectory, close to Holy Trinity Church. The rectory was completed in 1884 and today it forms the front of Hotel Commodore. The section now known as the Log Cabin (on the north side) was built as a Sunday School....( )...Archdeacon de Winton died in Tenby in April 1895. In 1896 Dr Alfred Griffith Greenway bought the rectory and turned it into a boarding house called Plas Winton. He later had the building enlarged, with two additional storeys in the same Arts and Crafts style."

El grupo artístico CNFSN reclama la rehabilitación de los 33 personajes pintados con espray hace 15 años en el mobiliario urbano. La obra ha resistido el vandalismo, pero necesita actualizarse e incorporar más mujeres (...)
▪️Ojos de rojo - El último de esos sabotajes lo ha sufrido 'Juanito' Guedes, El mariscal, ese hombre tranquilo y de pases largos que jugó siete temporadas en primera división con la UD Las Palmas, además de la Eurocopa de 1968 con Castellano, Germán y Tonono, este último también retratado por CNFSN junto a Silva.
▪️A Guedes le han pintado de rojo los ojos, al más puro estilo zombi o extraterrestre, un color presente en otros actos sin sentido, con el que se comienza a bombardear las calles de Vegeta y Triana, entre ellas un buzón antiguo recién restaurado y ahora vandalizado en Pérez Galdós.

A view towards San Giorgio Maggiore from inside the Grassi Palace gallery which offers changing exhibitions from the Fondazzione Pinault collection (my favourite the day I visited were the Ron Arad giant pucks of solid glass).
The Grassi P. is a subtle modernist makeover of Venetian palace architecture and is of some interest in itself.
The exhibitions are sometimes engaging and sometimes the absolute opposite (to put it weakly) according to others reviews.
The collection is owned and was purchased by billionaire Breton, François Pinault.
