the only plant i won't... can't (in fact) kill

In the minimal white living room there are various subtle touches such as the Barovier & Toso vase on a transparent French acrylic desk and the 1930s Murano glass chandelier

There will probably be an out of focus series/set. So this is the first of many.

The light above my bed in the cottage.

Another picture of our ceiling light mainly because I hadn't taken any in at least a whole month and it was clearly time for another. (Why do I like pictures of the light? That I don't know.) Grayscale variant.

Your lighting is talking about you. Make the force be for you.

I re-drilled the two outer holes, hopefully getting to the right size for the wires and grounding housing to fit. I used the biggest drill bit I currently have access to through a friend.

The lighting in this space is absolutely incredible. While shooting these photos, a number of people passed by me, looked up and stated how they hadn't noticed how remarkable the artwork of lighting and texture is. Today they saw the beauty with me.

These were the lights in the hotel lobby.

August 15, 2024 - The Kendall is one of three house designs located at The Villas at Scioto Meadows. A new patio home community located at 7613 Dulin Farms Drive, Powell, OH 43065

Featuring a sleek, silver gilded frame composed of delicately twisted rods of silver, the hidden treasure that is the crystal center spills out from underneath this spectacular ceiling pendant.

One month down, eleven more to go. Oy.

So I'm 1/12th done this Project 365, and it's been pretty much what I expected it to be- challenging, fun, and forcing me to be a better photographer whether I want to be or not. Not that I'm proud of every 365 shot I've uploaded so far- I don't even like a couple of them. But I took them, and I learn something while taking them, even if I'm still figuring out what it is I've learned.

A ceiling decal near one of the exits for international flights at Pearson International Airport. I think it's supposed to depict air currents.

Hazardous ceiling fixture. The light works fine but it is in terrible condition. There was a large, heavy glass globe that actually hanged on this. I have no idea what kept it from pulling the whole thing from the ceiling. The wiring on this needs to be completely replaced.

Looking around our new central library, Tūranga. On a walk around the city to catch up on what's happening while I wait for my car to have its WOF. March 2019 Christchurch New Zealand.
