This is my CD Cover for Just the way you are by Bruno Mars. As my original idea didn't work, Charlotte let me take pictures of her. (Thanks!)
This is mainly demonstrate the line 'You're amazing just the way you are'. That you don't need to change and that to everyone is amazing to someone.
Titled the 'Plasticity of Earth', I attempted to show the CD that i had melted in natural habitats by the means of collage.
1st piece- Grassy Plateau
For this, I photoshopped a picture of elephants into the naturally greenish looking morphed CD
2nd piece- Stormy Seas
For this, I photographed the CD against a blue background so that its colour has a natural looking blue tint to it. I then photoshopped a lighthouse into it, to make it seem like a wave crashing into a lighthouse.
3rd piece- Desert Dunes
For this, I photographed the CD against my brown table, to that it has an orangish brown tint. I then photoshopped a few camels onto the sand dunes, to make it seem more natural.
The essential idea behind my project is to depict to the viewer, the simplicity of nature
The fact that the entire natural beauty of our earth is comparable to that of a simple CD is mind boggling. This realization is with the intention of motivating the viewer to truly appreciate all of that nature that surrounds us.
