The rose-ringed parakeet (Psittacula krameri), also known as the ring-necked parakeet, ringneck parrot (in aviculture) or the Kramer parrot, is a medium-sized parrot in the genus Psittacula, of the family Psittacidae. It has disjunct native ranges in Africa and the Indian Subcontinent, and is now introduced into many other parts of the world where feral populations have established themselves and are bred for the exotic pet trade.
Amanita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric or fly amanita, is a mushroom and psychoactive basidiomycete fungus, one of many in the genus Amanita.
Early morning and late afternoon sunlight is a much richer source of light. As the sun rises or sinks, its light has to pass through more of the Earth’s atmosphere. That means there’s a lot more dust and haze to get in the way. This refraction results in much warmer light, which gives off mired and gold times compared to the harder, bluer light of noon. The position of the sun also lengthens shows and the angles accentuates texture.

Ich habe mich entschieden, die Fotos, die in Chernobyl entstanden sind, der Allgemeinheit ohne jegliche Lizenzansprüche frei zur Verfügung zu stellen. Grund für diese Entscheidung ist, dass die Fotos die Gefahren der Atomenergie bildlich und eindrücklich darstellen, gerade wenn man bedenkt, dass seit dem Supergau schon 30 Jahre vergangen sind. Ich hoffe die Fotos geben dem einen oder anderen einen Denkanstoss seinen persönlichen Energiehaushalt zu reflektieren und zu überdenken. Die Strahlung die in Tschernobyl freigesetzt wurde ist Heutzutage, nachweislich auf der ganzen Welt verteilt. Die Problematik der weltweit eingesetzten Atomenergie betrifft uns somit alle.

Hiroaki Takahashi (1871-1945), also known as Shotei or Komei, was an illustrator, painter and woodblock printer from Tokyo. He learned the art of Nihonga, Japanese style painting, from his uncle Fuko Matsumoto during the early Taisho period. His works cover scenes from villages, shrines, and nature, most of them signed with a variety of his artist names. Shotei worked for the Shin Hanga publisher Shozaburo Watanabe. They created hundreds of woodblock prints together. Unfortunately they were destroyed in a fire during the Great Kanto earthquake. Despite the loss, Shotei continued to make woodblock prints until the end of his life. We have digitally enhanced his beautiful remaining public domain art into high resolution images. Prints of the majestic Mount Fuji, the Asakusa shrine, and Nikko nature, are free to download and use under the CC0 license.

There is actually no colour processing done on this photo. This was a glass full of blue liquid. I wouldn't want to drink it though, probably poisonous. I just thought the colour looked good :)
