Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia Railway MLW M630s 2039, 2015 & 2032 head train 407 from Sydney to Stellarton, near Pomquet Station, Nova Scotia.

CBNS 306 is on the move once again with the orange and grey motors shining bright as the sun bounces off of them. With so many trees hindering so many possibilities in the area, due to shadows, it was nice to find a sucker hole!
After working CN local 515, I figured I'd check for 305 since they weren't in yet, a short drive revealed their location, switching at Sproule Lumber in Valley. I doubled back to this location as I saw they were on the move and escaped a cloud by the skin of my teeth. CBNS 305 is within the final mile of the Truro Yard. Power for the train is QGRY 3327 & CBNS 3366, with a healthy train of approximately 25 cars. The crew would return to Stellarton as 306 with 36 cars.

Continuing to back toward the mill, the train briefly stops for a crossing and then begins to back up again. This was another new location for me. Only on review did I notice that among the scrap in the foreground is an old freight car truck.
