Is China responsible for everything bad in the world?

youtu.be/uDl1evcQ5_I

U.S. efforts to strangle China and reassert hegemony - Columbia Professor Jeffrey Sachs on The Duran:

youtu.be/7hW1dsVV7-M

Another video of Professor Sachs on The Duran - World in Chaos. They started on the latest Israeli Palestinian war, that only diplomacy, not military might, can resolve the problem. However, both Israel and the U.S. are resorting to military might. They then discussed the de-dollarization trend. Sachs believed the dollar will lose its dominance power in ten years. He compared the dollar to the British pound a century ago. Everything they talked about the pound then is happening to the dollar today. Sachs cited three reasons for that. 1). Technology and CBDC, 2). Bad U.S. monetary policies including allowing Lehman Brothers to go under and weaponizing the dollar, and 3). The declining U.S. share of the global economy and foreign trades, at least in terms of purchasing power.

Bernie Sanders says Israel is violating international law with blockade on 'open-air prison' in Gaza

▫️ Sen. Bernie Sanders is calling for restraint in the wake of Hamas's attack on Israel.

▫️ He says the Jewish state is violating international law by imposing a punishing blockade on Gaza.

▫️ Sanders, a two-time presidential candidate, is one of the most prominent Jewish politicians in the US.

In one of the most strident criticisms of Israel yet by a prominent American politician, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont is accusing Israel of violating international law.

"For many, it is no secret that Gaza has been an open-air prison, with millions of people struggling to secure basic necessities," Sanders said in a statement issued on Wednesday.

Following Hamas's terrorist attack on Israel over the weekend, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced a "complete siege" of Gaza, the densely-populated territory where Gaza rules. Gallant said that would include "no electricity, no food, no fuel" for the territory's roughly 2 million residents.

"The targeting of civilians is a war crime, no matter who does it," said Sanders. "Israel's blanket denial of food, water, and other necessities to Gaza is a serious violation of international law and will do nothing but harm innocent civilians."

Targeting civilians, even during a time of war, violates Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions of 1949.

⚠️ Fundamental Privacy Concerns

Centralised personal data — a single ID can link your name, biometrics, address, financials, medical history, and activity across every service you use. Once unified, you can’t separate or compartmentalise your life anymore.

Data breaches become catastrophic — one hack exposes everything, not just a password.

State surveillance amplification — tracking movement, transactions, voting participation, NHS access, and even what you post online becomes technically trivial.

No practical “opt out” — once implemented, services will silently stop working without it — forcing compliance rather than consent.

💷 Financial & Economic Control

Linked banking & payments — when your ID doubles as your digital wallet (especially if CBDCs come in), your spending can be monitored, limited, or frozen instantly.

Programmable money risk — future digital currency could restrict where or on what you spend, e.g., “no petrol purchases” or “no flights this month.”

Tax and benefits automation — sounds efficient, but it gives HMRC and DWP total visibility and control over every penny of income or expenditure.

🏥 Health & Medical Tracking

Total NHS record access — centralising your medical history makes it more accessible to insurers, government agencies, or even employers “for verification purposes.”

Predictive analytics — algorithms can classify you by risk, behaviour, or “compliance,” shaping how services or insurance are priced or offered.

Consent erosion — “sharing data for your convenience” quickly becomes “mandatory to receive treatment.”

️ Political & Civil Liberties Risks

Voting linkages — if used for digital voting or census management, your ID could be cross-checked with political donations, attendance at protests, or social media opinions.

Censorship potential — a verified identity system makes “anonymous speech” impossible; it kills the right to dissent quietly.

Travel restrictions — passports, driving licences, and IDs merging into one system means location tracking and potential mobility restrictions.

💻 Everyday Civil Risks

Algorithmic profiling — credit scores, job applications, housing eligibility — all could quietly integrate with your central ID profile.

Corporate exploitation — once the government normalises a centralised ID, private tech firms will integrate it too, creating a hybrid state–corporate surveillance mesh.

Digital exclusion — older citizens, the homeless, or those without consistent device access could be locked out of essential services.

Philosophical Core Issue

It flips the power dynamic — you go from the state proving its authority to you to you having to prove your existence to the state.

A digital ID changes citizenship into a login privilege, not a right.

⚠️ 1. End of Anonymity

Every purchase, login, message, and movement becomes traceable to you personally.

The ability to speak, protest, or even browse without being logged disappears.

“Privacy” stops being a right — it becomes a privilege, granted only when permitted.

2. Behavioural Control

Once identity and finance merge, compliance can be engineered.

Travel bans, spending limits, or “social responsibility scores” could be applied invisibly through algorithms.

Citizens can be nudged or punished by quiet digital restrictions rather than open law.

️ 3. Permanent Surveillance Society

A unified ID allows every arm of the state — HMRC, NHS, DVLA, DWP, Police — to access and cross-reference your entire life file.

Add CCTV and facial recognition and the government gains real-time movement tracking.

You’re not “watched when suspicious”; you’re always watched by default.

💷 4. Financial Domination

If linked with a future central-bank digital currency (CBDC), every penny becomes traceable.

“Wrongthink” or dissent could be punished by frozen accounts or restricted spending.

The concept of cash — anonymous, private exchange — dies, ending financial freedom.

🏥 5. Medical Exploitation

Health data linked to ID lets authorities or corporations infer your condition, fertility, addictions, or mental state.

Predictive profiling could quietly influence insurance costs, job eligibility, or even travel permissions.

Medical consent becomes hollow when systems auto-share data “for safety.”

️ 6. Political Manipulation

Digital IDs linked to voting and communications data give the state unprecedented insight into who supports what.

True opposition politics withers when surveillance chills dissent.

Dissenters can be targeted algorithmically, without arrests — simply locked out of systems.

7. Social Stratification

Those without perfect digital records — ex-offenders, migrants, the poor, or off-grid individuals — become non-persons.

Access to healthcare, housing, or banking could quietly depend on algorithmic “trust scores.”

A two-tier society emerges: the verified and the vanished.

💣 8. Irreversibility

Once implemented, digital ID systems never shrink — they only expand.

Even if governments change, the infrastructure for control remains.

Abolishing it would mean dismantling the backbone of the new administrative state.

⚙️ 9. Data Weaponisation

The data exhaust of millions of citizens — location, health, spending, communications — becomes a goldmine for AI surveillance and foreign intelligence.

“National security” becomes the excuse for total access.

Once centralised, leaks or misuse aren’t if, they’re when.

10. Philosophical Collapse

Identity ceases to be who you are — it becomes what the system says you are.

When permission replaces freedom, citizenship is redefined as conditional.

A digital ID doesn’t just catalogue the population — it reprograms society into obedience
