Seen near a cafe recently, this I believe is a stunning example of this model. 49 years old and in mint condition. 498cc, air-cooled. SOHC, transverse in-line-four. Honda produced theses between 1971 - 1978. It had a top speed of approx 100mpg/ 160kph.

so, not much of a "before" photo...now that the tank is partially stripped, front + rear fender is off but i finally got around to do this.

i feel a bit of a dork, me of all people couldn't find the time to snap a few before photos, but i got so fired up to do something that i forgot.

adjust & sync carbs

make seat

make a tailight bracket

stop that dang front brake from sqeakin'!

Honda CB500Four - Bovingdon - April 2005

took a ride yesterday down to the wichita mountains in southern oklahoma with our local cma chapter...

it was an awesome ride, with great weather for the better part of the day until the ride home in the pouring rain.

When this bike was introduced to the USA, The reviews were outstanding.
