LaSalle Canyon Falls - HSS!
This was my favorite canyon and waterfall that we visited at Starved Rock State Park. And we had the place all to ourselves for about 15-20 minutes before we continued our hike. For this image I held Sicily because I felt it gave me the best chance of holding her still during the 0.8 second exposure.
You really can't appreciate this photo unless you watch this short video that was taken the day before... youtu.be/BHa7AVAXaQY
This covered bridge in the park was built back in the 1970's {according to a sign by the bridge), recreating the design of an earlier bridge. Sicily was not too interested in the history of the place, but was quite happy to be out on a walk!
I wanted to capture a few pics of Sicily running, and it was extremely challangeing. She moved so fast focusing was next to impossible.
Sicily joined me each morning while in Connecticut as we went out taking photos. She loved exploring all the many places we saw!
Sicily has learned to sit and stay, which is handy when it comes to taking photos. It was fun hearing the comments of people passing by in amazement at how well she sat there while we took way too many pictures of her!
We took Sicily to the beach in St. Joseph, Michigan for her first outing. Also included a walk on the pier out to the lighthouse. Amazing how many more people want to talk to you when you have a puppy!
At the base of Wildcat Canyon Falls with Sicily. Although there was not much water flowing, the scenery and the 80' drop was quite impressive. HSS! 70
This is Jax having fun on the beach today. By the way if you want to take good pictures of your dog I don't recommend getting a long haired dark coloured one. We still love him though.π
Baxter chewing his piece of antler. Sometimes I have to dip it in Peanut butter if I need him to be calm!
