Boomer, Shadow and Stabbur relaxing on their bench at our kitchen window.

Unfortunately, only Shadow is still with us.

I spotted these three beautiful cats in a second-floor window of some flats which are due to be demolished. I hadn't realised that the flats were still occupied, because the ground floor windows are all shuttered-up. The window they were in had cat paw and nose prints all over the window, but the cats were too cute to ignore, even if the resulting photo isn't all that sharp. I'm told it briefly made Explore on 10 May 2008.

During the summer, Mack spends all the time he possibly can outside. So I was thrilled yesterday evening when he came inside and enjoyed the great outdoors from his cat tree in front of our open bedroom window. In honor of this week's Happy Caturday theme, I actually got my big camera and huge lens out to take this photo of Big Mack Attack.

Happy Caturday: Back views

Ella (left) and Mel seem to find any excuse to cuddle up together, it's really very sweet.

Like I've said before.........Floydd never disappoints when you need a good cat picture. He always seems to know exactly how to position himself in the most photogenic places!

He was sitting in the dining room window last night "talking" to me while I was taking photos of flowers on the side of the house.

In 2010, a little feral, grey cat, Shadow, came to live with us. We tried to have him in the house, but he didn't like it. He has now lived on our back deck for 12 years. He is still completely feral.

This is Shadow between the brothers, Boomer and Stabbur. Unfortunately, Boomer and Stabbur are no longer with us.

I think it's cute the way he rested his elbow on the window sill.

In 2010, a pretty grey and white kitten appeared in our yard. Because he would disappear often, we named him shadow.

For a while we tried to tame him in our house, but it didn't work out. He has now been living on our deck for 11 years.

Here he is with Boomer (left) and Stabbur (right) on the window bench Judy made the cats from an IKEA coffee table.

Having successfully Stolen Freddies toy, Stevie strikes a Victorious Pose. Way to rub it in pal.

I've given up trying to keep Simon and Floydd off of the kitchen windowsill. It's a lost cause. There is just too much going on outside. My one bird feeder pole is located right about where this photo is being taken from, and there is plenty of "action" going on, on the ground underneath.

They are watching about a dozen dark-eyed juncos, a pair of mourning doves and one very fat squirrel.

Brian's cat, Dromio, loves to sit in their bay window and watch the world go by.

We have a small table near our front door. Kiwi loves to sit on the table and look out the side window next to the door.

I got a picture of her looking out the window.

Stevie is becoming quite the Diva. Simply put, I shoot because He poses. Maybe He should take up a hobby.

There are times when the lad just wants to strut his stuff and pose at the same time.

Chilli: " I loves watching the birds from my cat tree stand. I stretch my body as far as I can, leaning on the window with my two front paws to steady myself whilst I watch the robins and squirrels. I can watch, but I must touch. Great cat TV!"

This was said because the day before this was taken, little Stevie made a pit stop to the vet's that made certain that there would be no new little Stevies running around. Oddly enough, as of the 1st of the Year a new law took effect in Clark County (Las Vegas) mandating that unless You have a breeders license all Cats and Dogs must be neautered after age of 4 months. Not sure how this will be enforced, but seeing that our other 3 guy's are that way, it would have been done anyway. Happy to report, His personality has not changed in any way. He is still Hell on wheels.

They started out with Freddie teaching Stevie and now it appears the roles have been reversed. Freddies look is best seen in large.

One of the cat's most favorite features of our house are the deep windowsills.

A sunny one is prime real estate.

One minute Freddie was playing with his rolled up piece of paper and whoosh, Stevie jumps in and takes it away and in a great u-turn is gone leaving Freddie stareing at an empty space.
