Jane got out this afternoon and hid from me under my shed for a while. I was able to attract her attention with her favorite toy and then bring her back inside.

She proceeded to run around the house like a possessed cat before she hopped up on the coffee table which she knows is off-limits. She is seen here disagreeing with my instructions to leave the coffee table.

She just had "bad on the brain" today and was acting out like crazy.

Mack has the most expressive ears of any cat I've had. He is constantly moving his ears around - straight up, flattened, tilted forward... He is always talking - both with his mouth and with his ears.

In this photo, Mack is very aware that I am calling him and making funny noises to try to get him to look at me. He is also aware that Jimmy is behind him and not sure if he is going to do another "sneak attack" like he did just a few minutes ago. Mack is aware of everything going on around him and not happy about any of it. He really just wants to sit in the sunshine and sniff the cold air.

Yesterday was my dads birthday. Usually I get my parents a real sappy card but.........

My ex and I have not even broached the subject of what happens to Archie at the end of all of this. I can't even begin to think about that yet. It is really rather complicated for many reasons.

In other news I have discovered the reason for my doctor requesting so many repeat blood tests from me and perhaps part of why I am tired and breathless much of the time. I am, in her words, "really very anaemic" and with no obvious cause have been prescribed some iron tablets and retests for two months time.

Maybe I will get some energy back when they start working.

Happy Caturday to you all. I will be offering Archie some cuddles today, in the knowledge that he will completely protest them.

I'm pretty late to post today...didn't sleep so well or really at all unfortunately when I was supposed to. I just loved this little girl in Toronto and, in general, how kids express themselves including their likes and attitude through fashion. I just heard from a parent of a student that apparently there are even different fashion designs for Coronavirus masks that kids are getting into....way to make the most out of a bad situation!

I don't remember cat ears as a fashion statement outside of Halloween when I was a kid or I would have worn them constantly. Now, kids also have the chance to wear unicorn horns or caticorns which are cat ears and unicorn horns! So much variety!
