Day 5/365 - Here the picture from yesterday (wifi was not supportive). Portait picture from Puerto de la Cruz :-) -Emoticon Finally some cat content...
After some time of abscence due to holidays and work this is a sign of life for my photography page.
This little snowleo cub is dozing in the afternoon sun at the zoo of Wuppertal.
Ulysses strikes a contemplative pose in this beautiful natural light portrait, his gaze directed off to the side with that thoughtful expression cats seem to reserve for moments when they're pretending not to be entirely focused on you. His tabby and white markings are on full display—the classic brown mackerel tabby pattern on his face and ears contrasting beautifully with that luxurious white chest ruff that's pure Maine Coon fluff.
The composition captures him sitting perfectly upright on what appears to be a gray couch or cushioned surface, his posture absolutely regal. Those white front paws are placed just so, like a sphinx guarding ancient secrets. The soft natural lighting coming from the windows illuminates his features gorgeously, highlighting the translucent quality of his backlit ears and bringing out the golden-green tones in his eyes.

Oliver stands proudly on the hardwood floor, his full Maine Coon mix majesty on display. That incredibly fluffy tail is the star of the show—thick, bushy, and flowing with all the grandeur his breed is famous for. His luxurious coat shows beautiful color variations, from rich brown and ginger tones along his back to lighter cream and white underneath, all highlighted by natural window light streaming across the floor.
His green eyes gaze directly at the camera with that characteristic Maine Coon intelligence and curiosity. The classic tabby markings on his face—those distinctive stripes and the "M" pattern on his forehead—frame his expression perfectly. His tufted ears stand alert, and those impressive whiskers fan out in all directions, adding to his substantial, leonine appearance.
The overhead angle captures his full form beautifully, showing off the muscular build and substantial size that Maine Coon mixes are known for.
