An eye catchy sunset scene in which clouds seem to grow on trees. Nice synchronicity. 😉😊
This image was captured from our lodge in Bora Bora (Rohotu Fare). Our lodge owner was grateful for this photo so that he could keep a memory of this landscape, as the dead tree depicted in the photo was going to be cut few weeks after this shot was taken.

La gare de Perpignan, le 'centre du Monde' comme l'avait surnommée Dali...
The TGV station of Perpignan (south of France), the 'center of the World ' like Dali has nicknamed it...
Catchy title, huh? I think this image of the male Gadwall, a wintering duck in SoCal, is really a lot about the habitat. It's a really compact little wildlife area, rich in night and green herons, hawks, perchers and songbirds, an occasional GHOW, and lots of ducks. (And coyotes, too, actually.) I was trying to photograph the very shy wigeons when I spotted a few Gadwalls. Never seen them at this place before, so that was really exciting for me.
Oh, and is photographing on duckweed an exposure challenge? Even on this really cloudy morning, direction of that light source still makes a difference. The light can really glare on that duckweed and frankly I haven't mastered the combination. But this is definitely on the right track.
Another of my catchy titles! There were lots of cotton wool clouds about on our visit to Hardley Mill.
