A split-second slice of urban life where motion becomes the entire narrative.
The title says it all: the sudden, sweeping rush of a passing bicycle wheel in the immediate foreground serves as the literal catalyst for the scene, startling a group of pigeons into a frantic, scattered takeoff.
What makes this frame work so well is the layer of contrast. You have the heavy, aggressive kinetic blur of the wheel framing the shot on the right, juxtaposed against the textured, painterly motion blur of the wings over the still, green waters of the canal. It captures the beautiful, messy, and unpredictable rhythm of the everyday environment in a single shutter click.
