Bella was going to sleep on the sofa until I gave her the fabric flower toy. This shows her rolling around with the toy. She liked playing on the sofa & looking through the side to check that I was watching. Happy Caturday.

I am so pleased that Daisy has been playing again - a special treat for us both as she has seemed much happier. Every good day is a bonus. Happy Caturday!
Despite her illness, Daisy still likes to play. Camera ready, I put the frog down. Daisy wanted the frog, but not a photo - so she picked up the toy & ran to another room before I could get a single photo. After more failed attempts, I gave up. I put the camera away, fetched biscuits & hid them under the frog & got this quick snap with my phone while she was still hoping for more bribes. She has trained me very well!

I waited to give Bella her “Christmas pudding” toy today. She erupted into an excited play routine. She obviously thinks it’s wonderful. I’m so happy I bought it for her - when I saw them in a shop I wasn’t sure whether she would like it.
All Bella wants is to play, to be on my lap & to have her food on time! Happy Caturday & happy New Year!

An archive photo of Daisy with her ballet shoes - a favourite toy, which always made me happy too as she so obviously enjoyed playing. It’s stored for now. I’ll probably let Bella play with it at some time, but for now it reminds me too much of Daisy.

Bella’s personality? She’s loving, cuddly, funny, playful, naughty…

I was in the hospital for 5 days for knee replacement surgery. Yashka was very worried, sitting dejectedly by the window and reluctantly going for walks. Simkha, on the other hand, behaved as usual – he was fed and let out for walks for as long as he wanted. But when I returned home, it became clear that he had missed me too: he started going for fewer walks and spent more time cuddling and playing near me. Sometimes he plays so close to my injured leg that I have to move away from him...
I apologize, I haven't been writing many comments in the last few weeks. I didn't have a computer in the hospital, and it's very inconvenient to do it on my phone while lying down.

Another day, another game. Bella is a very happy cat who loves to play. I think she wishes that I would stay home all the time to give her my undivided attention - except for going out to buy her more food, obviously!
I got my wish when I adopted her - a loving, playful & cuddly cat. My wish now is that she stays happy & healthy so I have her for a long time.

Daisy makes me smile every day. She's funny, naughty & still behaves like a kitten. I know this is a bit blurred, but it's so typical of her. She plays with huge excitement then stops to wash before continuing the game.

Bella hadn't seen this toy before so was very excited while playing with it. But she stopped for a moment when a bird flew past the window! She's such a cutie.
