BNSF H-LAUDEN1-26A climbs uphill south of Wade siding on the sleepy Casper Subdivision. Once the CB&Q's route into Laurel, this TWC line sees a handful of freight trains in a given day.
BNSF’s Cowley turn rolls south along the craggy cliffs inside Sheep Canyon, heading back home to Greybull, Wyoming, on the afternoon of June 22, 2017. Leading the local along the Bighorn River is a Cascade green, former Burlington Northern EMD SD60M, now BNSF No. 1410.
After some delays waiting for a foreman to clear up the East Local is on its way back north towards Greybull, WY near Kirby on the BNSF Casper Sub. For a number of months now MRL 251 has been calling Greybull home and working on the locals and manifest trains in the area.

having cleared the Wind River Canyon, the journey across the basin to Casper Wyoming ahead.. BNSF 7849 7385 lead the M-LAUKCK1-08 at Piper Wyoming.. 11-sf dev 2005-07-10, one of my last trips before purchasing my Canon 20D..
Yo. Listen up. Here's the scoop. Me, the Mad Man and the Princess are checking out the action on Arthur Avenue.
You hear bout this place afore? Me neither. It's Little Italy...only in the Bronx.
There be all kinda peeps here: fat ones, thin ones, little rat faced ones. Pizza eating ones and ones that look like they don't eat enough.
There be smells of food...GOOD food and loud music and all kinda people talkin' and laughin' and whatnot. Old guys be playing cards and yelling all kinda crap at each other but you can tell they do dis every day and they like it.
Yesterday I told you about the Street Mystic. Today I got to tell you about Casper.
He be standing out front of a store, just smoking and chilling, right? He got him some kinda bad-ass pony tail.
The Princess, she go over to him, all bubbly and sparkly-like and get him to talking about his ink.
He be glad to talk on account of he got miles of ink on him. The Mad Man gets into it and before he know it, the man, Casper be his name, saying all kinda shit about life in Little Italy -- where be the tastiest pastries all kinda that stuff.
So I takes my camera and shoots too. What de hey? Badda Boom Badda Bing, right?

Over the weekend, I photographed several flowers in the garden. I studied my beautiful bouquet of big, bold and blousy Dahlias, perfectly proportioned Lupins, fragrant sweet peas and then found this tiny rose which looked so pale and insipid, almost ghostly white. There was something appealing about it so administered a little TLC via LR and discovered that dear little Casper was worthy of a post. I renamed it Lemon Meringue, as in the words of L'Oréal Paris, "it was worth it".
