Somewhere in America, 1973. Another difficult slide restoration.
We are becoming a more cashless society now. If only there was somewhere to place a card swipe reader.
"Guy who insists on buying everyone, even strangers their drink guy". Usually excessive cash on hand and/or on the bar despite living in a 96% cashless society. Often you won't even have been able to enjoy half your drink before he yells across the bar "You ready for another, I'm buying!" yet again. Most likely the dude is working for his Dad's Fortune 500 Co. while you struggled at a minimum wage internship changing ink toners in a badly fitting yet affordable white dress shirt each day.
DRD - "Irish Pub - Collection" is one of the coolest Irish pubs or bars found in SL. Chances are if you've been in SL for over a year you've even been in it, its that popular. Includes so much that should you be silly enough not to buy the fat pack, there are like 9 individual packages to buy making up everything you see here. Trust me, go fatback and do it soon cause well...St Patty's is coming! Available on MP & In-world.

God’s judgment vs God’s wrath
God’s judgment now: division; fake pandemic; soon coming economic crash to bring in a cashless society.
God’s wrath soon to come: world wide authoritarianism; billions dead; and eventually a money system that revolves around the number 666 and a microchip.
Are you people getting ready for the great reset? The World Economic Forum: “You will own nothing”…woohoo!!! Universal basic income, welcome to Universal socialism…woohoo!!

This verse reminds me of the corporate fascists. In Canada, the government subsidizes 70% of the wages of foreign workers. Can anyone say: cheap corporate labour! This screws over both Canadians and foreigners.

The Tower of Babel was built in Babylon. The Book of Revelation has one of my favourite Bible sayings: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the Great!”
Just think: crash the economy globally, then institute a global Babylonian system—a cashless surveillance society. How ironic: I used an article from Big Babylon to expose Little Babylon.
Storm Amy Struck on Friday evening. We were warned. 80 mph winds. Ben Nevis summit forecast for -13 degres C and 138mph gusts. The forecasts were the worst I had ever seen for Ardnamurchan, this most western part of the British mainland. And that was a pretty uncomfortable thought having experienced Storm Eowyn only last January which felt like a full on hurricane. Our electricity supplier SSEN (Scottish and Southern Electricity Newtworks) sent out a text warning on Thursday night and told us to prepare torches, etc. I replaced our Chagos Islands flag on the pole at the end of the drive with my battered and shot up Pirate skull and crossbones flag, my storm flag (as I shortened it to reduce wind resistance, and prevent the pole snapping).
The storm gathered through Friday. The Calmac website showed ferry routes turn to red as one by one they were cancelled. Eventually our Corran ferry took refuge and was anchored up in Loch Linnhe. The rain grew heavier, the gusts grew stronger, but behind new triple glazed windows in our house we felt warm and secure. The log burner blazed so that we were too hot as we watched Four in a Bed, terrestrial TV.
Then everything went off and we were pitched into darkness at 6.19pm on Friday. Only the log burner blazed away. No lights, no power for a kettle, no cooking, no microwave, no hot water, no central heating, no wifi, no phone signal. The landline phone in the kitchen rang. It was Sam, the automated bot from SSEN saying we know your electricity is off, we are working hard to get it back on. With nothing to do but watch the dancing flames we headed to bed with the sounds of the storm outside. We were woken from deep slumber by the kitchen phone ringing with cheerful Sam telling us they hoped to have our electricity back on by 8pm on Monday. Monday? It’s still Friday here! Later the landline went dead.
Saturday we sat and stared at the fire as the wind and rain still battered outside. Any moment there would be a blinding flash and the lights would dazzle us. The phones would beep and little red lights on household appliances would light up. The village shop was open, but dark with tilly lights down the aisles. It felt Christmassy. But despite living in hope all day, no light. We kept the log burner alive with logs, and boiled pans of water on top of it with which to make a nice mug of tea. I drove to Strontian with a flask of hot water to heat baby food for our grandchildren there. Sandwiches for tea for us, in the dark.
Sunday we ventured to Fort William, where life was ‘normal’. All the outdoor shops I went to reported it had been like Christmas Eve the day before, with sales of camping stoves through the roof. I needed a gas regulator. SSEN sent a mobile soup kitchen/burger van to the village instead of electricity. Eat all you like and it would be billed back to SSEN. It would have gone down well in Gaza, except for the pulled pork and apple burger.
Monday came and went. No light. If you headed over the mountains you got another message from Sam to say power would not be reinstated until Wednesday, at least
My picture shows our main road, the A861 after the fallen trees have been cleared. You can see why there is no phone line into our area, so no internet. There are a lot of elderly people living on their own in remote houses, sat in the darkness on their own. Some with blocked access, some with fallen trees on their houses, no power, no light. Even the smug green types have disappeared, nowhere to charge their cars, their heat pumps useless at warming their homes. All that 'free' energy from turbines and solar power can't get to the area. And apart from the total conversion to electric everything they want us to have a cashless society too. Thank fully our local shop says "Cash is King" and was able to trade and supply vital goods and take payment without a using card machines. And he acted as bank too for those locals who didn't have cash to hand. It's nice to be nice
Living in the back o'beyond the bank comes to us: a mobile bank, every Wednesday. I think it is a bit of a hangover from horse and cart days and can't see the service continuing for many more years, now that in the last two years with Covid we have moved so much to a cashless and internet banking society. But it's nice to know that if you want it you can have a personal service. We feel quite priviledged to have choices out here that no one else does.
One last look at Maryborough, Queensland - they just don't build banks the way they used to. I imagine our forefathers would be nonplussed to say the least to know that so many of their wonderfully grand banks and banking chambers have been replaced by, at best, Automatic Teller Machines or binary bits of almost invisible technology. From columns to cashless. I haven't looked up which bank this was, but the Commonwealth Bank in days of yore was rather partial to palatial so I suspect that is what this one was. Seems it is now a charitable help centre, I doubt the banks would know what lending an emotional hand up even meant.

A cashless society is not good for guys like Peter...

I wracked my brains for ages trying to think of something for the MM's theme of OnACoin. I spied the matches next to the cooker and the idea just pinged. The difficulty was finding a coin in this Covid cashless society these days :)
HMM everyone!

Among the sources of Western esotericism, the Hermetica is the most prominent. It is a collection of writings on cosmology, astrology, alchemy, and magic, and it has its origins in the Egyptian city of Alexandria. The Hermetica is attributed to Hermes Trismegistus. Thoth, the Egyptian god of wisdom and magic, is a significant figure in the Hermetica. Greeks in Egypt came to identify Thoth with their god Hermes.
Hermetism, in its ancient context, is closely related to pagan Neoplatonism. Neo-Platonists practiced Theurgy, a form of pagan mystical practice and magical ritual. The concept of theurgy came from the Chaldean Oracles, which describe the physical world as a prison from which the higher human soul must escape.
Gnosticism is a heresy from the early Christian era. The word Gnosticism comes from the Greek word gnosis, meaning “knowledge” or “insight,” and it pertains to hidden or secret spiritual knowledge. Gnostics believe that their souls are trapped in an imperfect world and that through esoteric knowledge they can be freed from the prison of this material world.
During the Italian Renaissance, a priest named Marsilio Ficino taught new spiritual concepts of Platonism and the Hermetica. This caused a revival of Neoplatonism and Hermetism. During this time, Giovanni Pico della Mirandola blended Kabbalah with Hermeticism. Then came figures such as Johannes Reuchlin, Johann Trithemius, and Henry Cornelius Agrippa, who mixed forms of Hermeticism with Neoplatonism, Neopythagoreanism, magic, astrology, alchemy, and Cabala. After came John Dee, who was an advisor to Elizabeth I. He immersed himself in astrology, alchemy, and Cabala. John Dee and Edward Kelley collaborated in angel magic for several years. And an influential figure in medicine named Paracelsus, combined alchemy with Hermetic and Neoplatonic ideas to form his medical theories. The Emerald Tablet, one of the oldest alchemical writings, played a major role in Renaissance esotericism. The saying, “as above, so below,” comes from the Emerald Tablet.
Christian theosophy emerged in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in reaction to the strict orthodoxy of the Lutheran Reformation. Jacob Boehme was the figure behind the start of this movement. His ideas influenced intellectual movements such as Romanticism and Idealism in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Platonism and Hermeticism are an essential part of theosophy. Rosicrucianism also arose in the seventeenth century. “From its obscure origins, the Rosicrucian myth would inspire literature, eighteenth-century Masonic adaptations, the rituals of the Golden Dawn, the leading magical order of the modern occult revival, and still exerts a powerful mystique today.”
Many secret societies formed in the eighteenth century, with their different esoteric beliefs. Many of these societies had relationships with the various Masonic lodges. Continental Freemasonry latched onto many of the esoteric ideas of these societies. The higher degrees of Freemasonry usually incorporated themes of theosophy, Rosicrucianism, and alchemy. Therefore, in the eighteenth century, Freemasonry was a major conduit for the spread of Western esotericism.
Emanuel Swedenborg had a great influence on eighteenth-century theosophy and was a major player in the development of modern esotericism. The Enlightenment influenced esoteric ideas, and they were accepted by many eighteenth-century illuminists. Then came Franz Anton Mesmer, who developed the theory of animal magnetism. His legacy can be traced to the early beginnings of modern Spiritualism. Animal magnetism was rooted in esoteric traditions. A key figure in animal magnetism was Justinus Kerner. His work became well-known throughout Europe. Another key figure was Baron Jules Dupotet de Sennevoy, who used animal magnetism to “unlock the secrets of magic.” His ideas influenced modern occultism. Helena Blavatsky, one of the founders of modern Theosophy, was a big fan of Dupotet. She also linked animal magnetism to magic. A man named James Braid coined the term “hypnotism” to describe animal magnetism. Hypnosis played a major role in the development of modern psychology. (Though they stripped the occult “ideas” from animal magnetism (hypnotism), I consider hypnotism to be an occult “practice.” Both Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung experimented with hypnosis.
In the mid-nineteenth century, occultism was introduced to America, predominantly through forms of animal magnetism, Swedenborgianism, and Freemasonry. Animal magnetism was introduced to America by Charles de Poyen. It quickly spread among occultists and spiritualists and was often combined with Swedenborgian ideas. Then came Andrew Jackson Davis, who communicated with a spirit he later identified as Swedenborg. He wrote a book called The Principles of Nature, which utilized Swedenborg’s ideas. His book sold many copies and became one of the founding texts of modern Spiritualism. Out of animal magnetism came the movements of New Thought and Christian Science, which integrated traditional Christian ideas with nineteenth-century metaphysical traditions. Next came modern Spiritualism, with its entertaining showmanship (self-moving furniture, self-playing musical instruments, and body levitation). Although the concepts of Swedenborg and animal magnetism were part of modern Spiritualism, the movement emerged independently of these influences.
The modern occult revival of the nineteenth century was complex. Romanticism sparked interest in the mysterious and unknown, thus creating an interest in animal magnetism, Spiritualism, and magic. A man named Eliphas Lévi became a pioneering figure in this Western occult revival. Lévi mixed ideas of animal magnetism with his philosophy of magic. Lévi used the Kabbalah and the Tarot as a source of magical symbolism. Much of modern occultism recognizes the Tarot as a root of mystical symbolism and imagery. Aleister Crowley believed himself to be a reincarnation of Lévi. Helena Blavatsky was also a fan of Lévi. In the second half of the nineteenth century, a Freemasonry order called the Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia was founded. In turn, some of its members founded the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. The Golden Dawn produced various offshoots, impacting Western esoteric traditions during the twentieth century.
Arthur Edward Waite came out of the Golden Dawn. He was a poet, scholar, mystic, and occultist. He was a prolific writer on esoteric matters. He was also a co-creator of the Rider-Waite TAROT card deck, which is one of the most popular Tarot decks. Aleister Crowley also came out of the Golden Dawn. Crowley wrote “The Book of the Law,” which stated, “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law!” Crowley used sex magick as a major tool for his magical system. Crowley referred to himself as the Great Beast 666. “Gerald Gardner, the founder of modern witchcraft, introduced Crowleyan magick into the neopagan Wiccan movement.” Dion Fortune, who had a great impact on modern Western esotericism, also came out of the Golden Dawn. She was one of the most influential twentieth-century occultists and ceremonial magicians. She had a significant influence on both later ceremonial magic and Wicca. “She was perhaps one of the first occult writers to approach magic and hermetic concepts from the psychology of Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung.”
The Theosophical Society was founded by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and Henry Steel Olcott. Blavatsky combined elements of Neoplatonism, Renaissance magic, Kabbalah, Freemasonry, ancient Egyptian and Greco-Roman mythology and religion, Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta into her religious system. Her new religious movement played a major role in the spread of esoteric traditions in the modern era, and it was likely the biggest Influence behind the modern occult revival. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Theosophy gained a large international following. Her work prepared the foundation for what is now known as the New Age movement.
Alice A. Bailey authored many books on Theosophy. She was one of the first writers to use the term New Age, and her works have significantly influenced the New Age movement. Alice and Foster Bailey founded the Lucifer Publishing Company, which was later named the Lucis Publishing Company. (The Theosophical Society had also used the name “Lucifer” for its early magazine.) World Goodwill, which is part of Alice Bailey’s Lucis Trust, is an accredited Nongovernmental Organization with the Department of Public Information at the United Nations. The Lucis Trust is also on the Roster of the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
Carl Jung, the famous psychiatrist, had a profound impact on the world of psychology and spirituality. Esoteric traditions profoundly shaped Jung’s understanding of the human psyche. Gnosticism deeply resonated with Jung’s theories. His ideas have had a significant influence on the New Age movement. Western esotericism gained renewed momentum from Jung’s implied spiritualization of the psyche.
“Ever since Plato’s separation of the body and the soul, Western esotericism has traced a path in which the soul has been granted some share in divinity.” Hermetism, Neoplatonism, and modern-day Western esotericism provide people with a vision of the cosmos in which their soul has divine purpose. With the popularity of New Age and neopagan philosophies in the West today, esoteric traditions will continue to evolve and lay claim to some sort of enlightened gnosis.
I think that modern esotericism will lead down the road to Alice Bailey’s vision of a world religion—the fusion of faiths. This concept has been around for a long time. Here is the concept: a one-world government is needed to unite mankind in order to create a world of peace and prosperity (political Gnosticism). To accomplish a one-world government, all religions must unite under one umbrella (spiritual Gnosticism). Many groups have been working towards this goal, such as the Parliament of the World’s Religions, the International Association for Religious Freedom, the World Congress of Faiths, Nostra Aetate, and Religions for Peace.
Nietzsche’s murder of God is an element of parousiastic Gnosticism, which seeks to destroy everything that is perceived as unjust (imperfect), and to replace it with a just (perfect) order through the power of human means and intellect. Therefore, the Christian God of the West has to go, and so does Western democracy. Just like the murder of God, Nietzsche’s transformation of man into the superman is an attempt to murder man. “Historically, the murder of God is not followed by the superman, but by the murder of man.” The Marxists must destroy capitalism and instate communism, thus killing off bourgeois society. They are trapped in this world of capitalism; thus, their world is a prison. The Marxists are trapped in a system of private property and must transcend private property, abolishing it forever. Marxists must transcend the evils of this capitalist world and evolve into the “socialist man”/“communist man.” They must destroy the current system to gain their utopia. Indeed, “socialism is man’s positive self-consciousness,” his gnosis.
“Communism is the riddle of history solved, and it knows itself to be this solution. The entire movement of history, just as its actual act of genesis—the birth act of its empirical existence—is, therefore, for its thinking consciousness the comprehended and known process of its becoming.” – Karl Marx
“The positive transcendence of private property as the appropriation of human life, is therefore the positive transcendence of all estrangement—that is to say, the return of man from religion, family, state, etc., to his human, i.e., social, existence.” – Karl Marx
Political Gnosticism is seen in communism and National Socialism. Political Gnosticism is alive and well today, with affluent people and organizations who want to transform our world into their utopian dream. The United Nations, with its Sustainable Development Goals, is the chief example. The World Economic Forum is another. Through their gnosis, they can bring peace and prosperity to the world.
“Queer theory brings knowing and being into the education of young children.” In queer theory, people are born (trapped) in the wrong body; their bodies are prisons. “Young people are absorbing the idea that the physical body is not part of the authentic self—that the authentic self is only the autonomous choosing self. This is ancient Gnosticism in new garb.”
Transhumanists want mankind to transcend into the superman. Man is trapped in this mortal body, but the goal is to someday attain immortality. They will use technology and super intelligence to solve man’s problems, to bring about a perfect world of peace and prosperity.
The Bible warns about the forming of a future one-world religion—the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth. It warns of a one-world cashless currency system, which will be connected to the Mark of the Beast. Without this one-world digital ID Mark, which will be located on the right hand or forehead, a person will not be able to buy or sell. The man who implements this system will be the Antichrist. His Mark will plunge mankind into the first stages of transhumanism. Those who refuse this transformation into the superman will be put to death—the murder of man. The Western religion of Christianity will be replaced with the worship of Caesar (the Beast). Western democracy will be replaced with totalitarianism.
The gnosis: if you eat the fruit, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God.
Since we have converted to an almost cashless situation, just using debit/credit cards for the most part, I wasn't sure if I had any hard currency at all. Fortunately I found a Canadian 25 cent piece laying around in a junk drawer!

It was a wet morning in Honey Lane Hertford and I thought it would be fun to highlight the cash machine. The local branch networks are closing with my old employer being one of the first to leave in Hertford. In a local town called Ware, a vibrant little town has lost all it’s High Street banks, their post office and leaving only a Tesco cashpoint in the town. The local MP to be fair has tried to ensure the post office remains open, but this is the problem if you privatise all the public services with control being taken away from local needs then there is no recourse to any decision made.

Florida's Turnpike, designated as unsigned State Road 91 (SR 91), is a toll road in the U.S. state of Florida, maintained by Florida's Turnpike Enterprise (FTE). Spanning approximately 309 miles (497 km) along a northwest–southeast axis, the turnpike is in two sections. The SR 91 mainline runs roughly 265 miles (426 km), from its southern terminus at an interchange with Interstate 95 (I-95) in Miami Gardens to an interchange with I-75 in Wildwood at its northern terminus. The Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike (abbreviated HEFT and designated as unsigned SR 821) continues from the southern end of the mainline for another 48 miles (77 km) to US Highway 1 (US 1) in Florida City. The slogan for the road is "The Less Stressway". The mainline opened in stages between 1957 and 1964, while the extension was completed in 1974. The turnpike runs through Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach, where it parallels I-95, and through Orlando, where it crosses I-4.
Tolls on the turnpike are an average of 6.7 cents per mile (4.2 ¢/km) for cars and other two-axle vehicles using SunPass. A trip on the entire turnpike (not including the Homestead Extension) would cost $22.59 with Toll-by-Plate, and $17.45 with SunPass.
The turnpike was originally entirely on the ticket system, but due to congestion in the Miami and Orlando metro areas, a coin system was implemented from the Three Lakes toll plaza north to the terminus at I-75, and from Lantana south to I-95, in the 1990s. In 2015, the portion between the Golden Glades toll barrier and I-595 in Davie was converted to a cashless toll system. Additional projects to convert the turnpike to an electronic collection system were completed between I-595 and Lantana in 2019, and from SR 429 north to I-75 in Wildwood in 2020.
The final stretch of the turnpike to use the ticket system ran between what are now electronic toll gantries at Lantana (mile 89.4 in Palm Beach County) and Three Lakes (mile 236.5 in Osceola County). This section was converted to a cashless system on November 8, 2021, removing the final cash-based toll collections and converting the entire length of the turnpike to electronic toll collection.
The SunPass electronic toll collection system, in use since 1999, has become the primary method of paying tolls on the turnpike, with 80% of customers using the electronic tolling as of October 2009. SunPass can be used on most Florida toll roads, in conjunction with other electronic toll collection systems in Florida (E-Pass and LeeWay). SunPass users benefit from an average of a 25% discount on tolls and access to SunPass-only exit ramps. SunPass transponders are available at the gift shop and gas stations at all service plazas, as well as Walgreens, Publix, and CVS stores statewide.[18] Since 2021, E-ZPass, which is used primarily in the Midwest and Northeast U.S., has also been accepted on Florida's Turnpike.
As the Turnpike and its system of roads are primary routes for emergency evacuations, tolls may be suspended, in cooperation with the state's emergency operations center and county governments, when a state or national emergency, most common being a hurricane watch, warrant rapid movement of the population.
Eight service plazas are located along the turnpike, spaced about 45 miles (72 km) apart. All eight plazas are open 24 hours a day and located on the center median of the turnpike for access from both directions and offer gasoline, diesel fuel, internet access, travel and tourism info and tickets, picnic areas, TV news, gift shops offering Florida Lottery, family-friendly restrooms, and pay phones. A convenience store/gas station is located at the Snapper Creek plaza on the Homestead Extension of the turnpike, while the remaining seven are full-service plazas, featuring a selection of franchised fast food restaurants. Three of the service plazas (Pompano, Port St. Lucie/Fort Pierce, Turkey Lake) also provide E85 ethanol. The Turkey Lake plaza also has a Tesla Supercharger for Tesla electric vehicles. Superchargers are also located at Ft. Drum plaza, and Canoe Creek and Okahumpa are scheduled to open Superchargers in 2021/22.
The operation of Sunshine State Parkway gas stations and service centers was originally bid out under separate contracts, and as a result, differing petroleum brands operated concurrently along the parkway, with varying levels of service and pricing. This practice was discontinued in 1995 when all service center operations were combined to improve supply and continuity of service; with Martin Petroleum, a Florida corporation, operating the stations with Citgo brand fuel at its stations. Since then, the Venezuelan government, under President Hugo Chávez, nationalized Citgo, and in 2006, political controversy resulted in a movement to remove the brand from the turnpike.
In 2009, Areas U.S.A. signed a 30-year contract for operation of food and retail concessions, taking over operations from Martin Petroleum and HMSHost. Florida Turnpike Services, L.L.C., Areas' partner, replaced the Citgo brand with Shell, the current brand for gas stations along the turnpike. Many of the restaurant brands were also changed over, with Dunkin' Donuts replacing Starbucks locations as well as KFC, Pizza Hut, Villa Pizza and Wendy's replacing most Popeyes and Burger King locations. The reconstruction and renovation of six of the service plazas began on November 1, 2010, to be completed in 2012. The Okahumpka and Ft. Pierce plazas will begin reconstruction when the other plaza projects are complete. Total renovation costs are estimated at $160 million.

Antique National cash register with a different perspective.
This is apart of our history and back then even a cash register was ornately made with quality!!
I hope you enjoy this rustic antique!
Thank you everyone for your views and comments!! 👍

This bank branch in Norwich appears to date back to 1677 - long before the advent of internet banking and the demise of banks on our high streets. At least this one is still operational…for now. In many parts of the U.K. it’s becoming difficult to find a bank branch - or even a cash machine. The move to a cashless society continues apace…whether we like it or not.

While awaiting a pourover at Starbucks, I laid my camera on the counter and fired away. I asked the staff if they minded, and they said no. But, I felt guilty, as I had no cash on me for a tip, and we are certainly moving towards a cashless society. Wish me luck, as I will be begging the wife for some pocket money when I get home.

Just three little photos today with an explanation. The man in the beanie is very worried. Not about the virus (it's small fry compared to things like the Spanish flu 1918 that killed 50 million people). People get the COVID-19 virus and survive, more than that their bodies develop an immunity - and in the long term that is a good thing. Nature's way of protecting the future of the species.
I hope that what I am about to say is wrong - totally wrong. Forgive me if it proves to be wrong, but I'll be just as happy as anyone to be proven wrong in this case.
I've been asking all week: Why this, why now, why such an over-reaction? After all global infection rates are smaller than many global flus and the virus is far from fatal to healthy people. And the answers I keep getting are very very worrying. I hope my sources on this are totally wrong - I hope that with all my freeminded heart!
I won't go into details obviously, but real skeptics need to start talking and they need to start talking NOW.
There are several things worth noting:
(1) This pandemic if it goes on long enough will destroy the current world economy.
(2) A direct push for Global governance and a truly Global economy (digital and cashless) is likely to follow as world leaders re-boot the Markets. It follows then that those who cannot participate in this "new economy" will be left to fend for themselves (in a stroke you rid the world of the refugee problem).
(3) Freedom as we know it will wither on the vine. George Orwell got this right: "If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever."
Anyone who thinks big is better and a global world government won't be a dictatorship like the world has never seen is deluding themselves.
Now why do I suspect this and my freedom loving heart trembles with the thought? Because of the rapid way in which all countries, governments and the media fell lock-stock in behind the plan. It's almost as if it was planned.
Chilling to be sure, as it was on Greens Beach in Tasmania last night. About as far from the epicentre of this world event as you can get. But chilling to the core.
Sorry to raise some difficult questions.. Now is NOT the time to panic. Now is the time to start asking real questions of the authorities. Isn't that what Democracy is about?

In today's cashless society, I rarely use my wallet, but these are some of the contents, including photos of my parents, my husband, and one of our dogs, a 10 dollar note (Australian) and my Opal travel card..
Opal is the smartcard ticketing system used to pay for travel on public transport in Sydney.
After a long walk uphill for the Pamukkale travertine terraces , my daughter
had a dip in to cool down . I didn't , as the heat is scorching hot , I can't bear the heat
and the idea of my skin exposed and fried up for even few minutes .
Enough of the idea of catching a tan , I accept my colour and don't like
the agony. If you don't follow this silly excessive sun exposure to get the
tan , many probably would still retain and delay the aging process or look
10 yrs younger. I suppose ones genetics do play in it too .
There's less editing in this photo . The major thing I did is put the
watermark , reduced the photo to smaller size then adjusted just
a tiny bit of the levels.

I find this confirming in my spirit and very interesting if you are watching the times.
I'm not all agreeing in everything said but in most of it .
There's no question for me to believe we are in the times of the birth pangs as
spoken in the Bible. The Birth pangs before the Tribulation .
As back 2011, along the series of events that woke
up in the Lord , I also heard extraordinary sounds, eerie in a way
it's so bizarre. Although before hand I was trying to convince myself
we are at the birth pangs but part of me is doubtful. Until what I believed
the Lord did to nail me by the sound. It runs 20 minutes
at approximately 02:00 , I should be sleeping at that time,
but I can't sleep , so I spent my waking time reading the Bible.
when this big truck or train sound coming from the distance, then
stayed in the air just above my house with a woman screaming in the air
as if she's birthing . I froze , not scared but get the goose bumps.
I just closed my eyes and prayed until it went away still with the birthing
sound echoing fading in the air. I didn't understand it until the Lord put it I my heart
for me to believe we are in the birth pangs time line.
The intensity and frequency of disasters will increase as we move on towards
Tribulation period, just like a woman birthing a child.
I do believe tribulation period is close, we don't know when
God may stretch the time again but we are very close.
Those who are not with the Lord should be very afraid
because if you don't have the seal of Christ -- it is scary thought.
For me I am getting excited , and keep praying bring it on Lord !!!
As time is so evil ... we don't even see it neither hear it from our
mainstream media, they hide it. But if you have discernments, you
know their fruits.
If you feel Jesus is calling you, answer the call for salvation .
Jesus is the only way . Make him your refuge !

Though I will admit contactless has streamlined processes somewhat, does make a difference just sliding a card across rather than ensuring you have pockets lined with requisite coins to avoid inconveniencing the driver with a calcified bank note. When commercial television started in the provinces in 1957 we, in Bristol, shared our service with South Wales. It was provided by TWW ...Television Wales & West. There was a small number of programmes in Welsh, including an evening news bulletin. Still a small boy, I used to turn on our Ekco television set to listen to these broadcasts; I couldn't understand a word, but I loved to hear it. Others constantly moaned about "Welsh programmes" on their televisions. Had they no poetry in their souls? If they didn't like it, couldn't they find something else to do for ten minutes? In later life it occurred to me that the survival, against all the odds, for 1,500 years, of the aboriginal language of the whole of Britain, little more than a hundred miles from London, was one of the most remarkable things about our remarkable and mysterious islands. I have remained a partisan of Wales and the Welsh.
Since moving to East Anglia eleven years ago the thing I have missed is the soft, maritime light of the West. Just look at that distant hillside. It's almost a wall of grey, but subtle gradations of tone, seen through the damp air, create the semblance of trees. Never mind, for the moment, that they are Forestry Commission sitka spruce. I have sometimes thought of "the Valleys" as the place where I'd like to spend my declining years. Everything is a little behind the times here (regulars will remember "Fray's Law") and there is an air of benign neglect. These are things of which I approve. Traffic wardens make a fortune up here, I was told. With no garages or driveways and "double yellows" outside their houses, where are the residents to park? The wardens look benignly upon their predicament and, on their occasional patrols of these streets, may, for a small consideration, be persuaded to turn a blind eye to infringements of the regulations. This humane, informal commerce also meets with my approval. Looked upon with disfavour by officialdom, because untaxable, it will disappear in the coming cashless future.

Dublin Coach Citaro 07-KE-2610 (with beacon) on TFI supported Route 310 at Mulgrave Street, Limerick on Tuesday evening, 18th October 2022. Note the rather general terminus display.
On Wednesday, 12th October, 2022. Limerick's current incarnation of Route 310 went operational. The route links the city centre with the eastern fringes of Castletroy via the Groody Valley, University and Newtown. It is noteworthy for three reasons:
1) It is the first PSO route in the city in modern times, not to be operated by Bus Éireann. Instead, Dublin Coach have secured a two year PSO (Public Service Obligation) contract from the NTA to operate the route having somewhat controversially ceased operating their commercial routes 307 and 308 in the summer.
2) No cash fares are accepted: only LEAP cards and those issued by the Department of Social Protection.
3) The route operates to a single seven-day timetable with services operating between 06:30 and 00:26.

Countdown to the Book of Revelation: war, civil war and social unrest are just around the corner.
The proxy war is heating up with Russia. CBS—Russian President Vladimir Putin warned Thursday that a decision by the U.S. or its NATO allies to allow Ukraine to use Western-supplied long-range missiles to hit targets deep inside Russia would be viewed as NATO’s direct participation in the war, which he said would significantly change “the very nature of the conflict.”
There was a second assignation attempt on Trump.
There is a global debt bubble that’s ready to pop. A cashless society will rise from the ashes of the next economic crash: digital ID’s, central bank digital currencies, social credit score systems, biometrics, universal basic income.
Problem, Reaction Solution: we have a mass migration crisis (open borders), housing crisis, health crisis, food insecurity crisis, cost of living crisis, debt crisis, and an inflation crisis. We also have a Ukrainian war crisis, Middle East crisis, and one day soon we’ll have a China vs Taiwan crisis.
If you want, you could also throw in a plandemic crisis and a climate change crisis. Let’s not forget the misinformation and disinformation crisis that must be stopped. Censorship and the stifling of free speech and freedom are not too far away.
Habakkuk 1:9 “They all come to oppress—hordes of them, their faces pressing onward—they take prisoners as numerous as the desert sand!”

There is a sign in the window indicating that they do not accept cash.
I am not keen on the concept but a few restaurants owners have told me that the would much prefer to operate on a cashless basis for a variety of reasons including lower overall cost.
I always thought that it was Fagan's rather than Fegan's.
I was wondering why a new restaurant has 1924 in it's name until I remembered that there has been a Fegan's wholesale business at this location for a long as I can remember.
Dial yourself some money in Oxford. This is one way to make use of redundant phone boxes, but how long before cash is also a thing of the past? I rarely use my card to withdraw cash from a machine now and many shops prefer you not to use cash anyway. The Cashless Society beckons and might cash machines eventually go the same way as our phone boxes...?
