New Haven squirrels are insane for stray pumpkins...I had friends at Yale who left their window open about two inches during Thanksgiving break and returned to think their dorm room was burgled. In fact, a family of squirrels had entered through the window and ate giant squirrel holes through their four pumpkins and ran around the room high on pumpkin seeds.
