Je collectionne un paquet de trucs, dont les cartes de tout genre. Pas juste pour ce qu'elles ont l'air, mais souvent pour ce qu'elles disent...

The laws about dog carts were changed about two years ago.
Newfoundland dogs are large but very gentle animals as they were used on fishing boats to swim to shore taking a line so the boat could be beached. The fishermen did not want a energetic animal on a small boat.
The owner of one of the dogs said that you could not get one of the dogs to pull a cart if it did not want to.
These dogs have a deep loud bark which makes you jump.
Today this type of plough is not used a lot as farming in Malta has become mechanized and tractors are used instead of the mule drawn plough. Mules were used as they are hardy and quieter than horses which tend to be a bit frisky. This type of plough developed over the ages from a single piece of wood pulled by humans to the more ‘sophisticated’ plough with an iron blade thus making it possible to dig deeper furrows and make ploughing less arduous. What we see in this photograph is a typical old time farmer with his mule and cart carrying the plough and going on his way to plough his field or two. - MALTA

One more from the Abingdon Christmas parade for the Southern Culture folks. Yes, it's the giant Food City shopping cart, which apparently can no longer run under its own steam and so is driverless and untenanted, and suffering the indignity of being pulled on a trailer.
Here is the maker art cart I built at Tam Makers, in its first journey from the woodshop where it was made to my home in Mill Valley.
I am happy to report that the cart pieces fit perfectly in the back of my Prius, as planned. We designed the cart carefully so that it could be rolled around, taken apart and driven away easily. Its longest part is 72” (to fit in compact vehicles) and its widest is 32” (to fit through doorways).
In our maker art classes, we use this art cart to showcase the work our students. For its first exhibition, the cart featured the City of the Future that our middle-school students built together in spring 2016. We will also use it for our Magic Theater project, for the first performance of Ubu’s Dreams, our shadow puppet show for the upcoming Pataphysics of Dada exhibit.
Many thanks to my coach and partner Geo Monley for his help in designing and building this cart. Together, we are developing a new makerspace called Tam Makers, to server a growing community of makers, students and teachers in South Marin.

I like finding things in waste areas. Even a cart can have mystery, or sadness, beauty, nostalgia, or whatever.
Over-exposed 2 stops with N-2 development.
Coming out of the Park, I saw these kids hovering around this cart. They wanted lime juice perhaps. By the time I got out of my car and rushed to take a snap, they dispersed. But I caught this little fellow watching me from behind the limes.
