After the gap of the Ford Fusion Shoot, on Thursday, I was searching for a new car to shoot.
One of my fellow photographers and friend Saurabh had mentioned earlier that he needed his car to be photographed.
So after initial chat we decided to do the shoot. The main problem was finding a right place to do the shoot.This took half the time.When we got the place, the traffic was so much that we had to wait for the right opportunity.
And traffic meant lottsa people stopping and asking whats exactly going on.90% thought it was a commercial shoot. Even the police who were patrolling.Two separate teams came and stopped and questioned our motive.Luckily they understood what we were doing.
Also I have to do something to keep my subject clean and shiny on location.the subjects are cleaned in the morning but the gap makes them dusty.
Every car gives me a new challenge and opens new opportunities to shoot in a better fashion.
The Self Critique is the light hotspot near the bumper is killing the shot to an extent.
Strobist: Vivitar 285HV 1/4 power multiple angles.
Yongnuo 460MK II 1/8-1/4 multiple angles.
Yongnuo RF 602s.
DIY: diy softbox.light stands along with human stand :P

Shot on January 29th for Rijtesten.nl around Zwolle, my first carshoot ever! :-) Had the car-tester also handhold my 580EX, shot through a 5-in-1 reflector without the cover. Again, triggered by my ST-E2. I used the ST-E2/580EX-combo for all shots, and it never let me down! Also took my Nikon SB's + radiotriggers just in case, but they never got out of my bag. :-)
