I saw little in the way of fauna on these hikes, a few birds and rabbits. A British group in the hostel said they saw a puma. I did manage to spot a pair of woodpeckers. This is not a great photo, but they would not let me come any closer. One had a red head and the other a black one. I am not sure which was the male and which was the female.
