Deuteronomy 2:27
“Let us pass through your country. We will stay on the main road; we will not turn aside to the right or to the left.
I don't care what the Netflix subtitles say, I'm not calling it Antique.
So, now that's all taken care of I can show you my latest project that's definitely not been sitting around for a few weeks: Anteiku! Took a while to get right, the floor plans were something that took a great deal of time to get right, but I think I cracked it. It's got the works, five floors, a roof area, plants, everything seen in the anime...
Except for characters and the entire furnishings of the floors above and below the cafe bit. The main build was enough to worry about, let alone doing all the interior decorating. I'll get to it one day, but for now it's just got the cafe.
You would not believe how hard it is to work out where things should be, I'm not even sure if the actual Anteiku works irl, lots of bits that don't quite line up.
But I like what I managed to do. Maybe I'll even work out some interiors for the other floors.

The little box gets her first teeth
And her little length
Little width little emptiness
And all the rest she has
The little box continues growing
The cupboard that she was inside
Is now inside her
And she grows bigger bigger bigger
Now the room is inside her
And the house and the city and the earth
And the world she was in before
The little box remembers her childhood
And by a great longing
She becomes a little box again
Now in the little box
You have the whole world in miniature
You can easily put in a pocket
Easily steal it lose it
Take care of the little box

I can't believe how long it has been that I have been around but it has been a very crazy last few month and I'm sure a lot of you out there will agree with me!!!
I hope everybody is well. I'll will try to make my way around and check out what you have been posting.
Take care and stay safe!
The green tree frogs have been plenty around here this year. This guy was sitting on our front-door ;-)
Created for Macro Mondays theme "Handle With Care".
Compare to Single or Double-Edge Razors, these cartridge type razors are smooth and safe, but you still need to handle them with care to avoid nicks.

Your heart speaks what exactly,
on this day?
and your mind, may inquire further,
later this year
for wherever time takes us
up or downstream
we continue afloat as best we can
for annual lessons we hope to redeem
who cares to join the passing years
that choice isn't ours
all these petulant days mount up
you and I know through the hours
emotions are forever raven
compared with the shy tide of laughter
somewhere, a resonant voice
touches the heart it looks after

My wife has given her consent to my using this image of one of her Rheumatoid Arthritis treatments for this week's 'Handle With Care' theme.
Technical: this image started out as a focus stack of 15 images of the syringe on a mirror with a black background taken at f/10.0 (now that I know the sweet spot after last week's brilliant challenge!) and processed in Helicon Focus. The resulting image was then transferred to Photoshop for extensive dust-spot removal (on the mirror, not my sensor!). Back in Lightroom I applied sharpening to the whole image and a graduated filter to tone down the reflection. Finally, a radial 4-stop filter ensured the surrounding black areas were fully black!
Happy Macro Monday to everyone.
I started back to school last month and have had almost zero time to spend on here. But I still manage. I sent the Cobb album back to the Family Treasures Found Facebook group over a month ago. I will update the photos with that info soon.
SN: Cycas Revoluta, Cycadaceae Family
This Palm has its origin in the Ryukyu Islands in Southern Japan. Although called Palm it doesn't belong to the Palmaceae family. Nowadays is disseminated all over. Produces a center of future leaves looking like a cabbage. It is quite attractive.
The Sago Palm is one of the most widely grown houseplants in the world because of its attractive, easy-care habit. It's a cycad, not an actual palm. The thick, shiny-green fronds have a slightly cascading appearance and they arise from a stout, brown, textured truck. When it’s container-grown, it performs well in any bright, sun-filled indoor space. This slow-growing evergreen plant is moderately cold hardy (to zone 8) and it’s native to southern Japan. Easy to care for, it prefers a well-drained potting mix or sandy soil when planted outside in southern zones. Sago Palm makes it easy to add a touch of greenery to your indoor living space.

朱鸝 Maroon Oriole ... My previous comment about the dad being less caring than the mom may be wrong. Look at the tenderness in his eyes... This nesting place is near a water reservoir supplying the whole Taipei city. The lack of rain over the last couple months has lead to an alarming low water level. However, this is beneficial to this Oriole family as the parents can easily get snails for the chicks from the drying waterside.

I chose this photo for Flickr Friday, Care because of the way the man knelt on the hot pavement beside his dog and his hand was comfortingly place around the dog... a whole lot of love right there! :) Anita and I were out roaming the country side yesterday and this was our first stop, Jim Barnett Park in the heart of the city of Winchester Virginia. The dog owner was happy to share his dog with us for a few minutes and told us that it was a Dutch Shepard which are this marvelous brindle color and are a very high energy dog. We continued our journey much enriched by our time spent with this man and his beautiful companion.
But If you let me..... I´ll take care of you. Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa.
