Revisiting my files I found these photos of Rio at a very special moment during the Olympics.

Initially a view of Copacabana beach on a sunny August day in 2016.

Just for fun I took some pictures of some surfers in this charming "Caribbean" sea.

Small waves, nothing to envy the Hawaiian waves or the huge waves of Nazareth, but they turned out to be very beautiful mainly by the contrast of tones. Hope you like it, guys!

I'll be out for a month! I hope you get well and make great shots during that time.

P.S.: I read that a brazilian surfer (Rodrigo Koxa) is by now the recordist of the bigger wave of the world with 24,38 meters in Nazareth, Portugal.

Earlier this the week we met up with our son, 6-month grandson and his other grannie at Cresswell for a walk along the beach followed by lunch together. We couldn't have chosen a better day - Druridge Bay looked as if it had been imported from the West Indies!
