For 50 years the 108th MP Co. has served during peacetime and war. In 1989, the 108th MP Co. was designated as an Air Assault Military Police Company for the XVIII Airborne Corps. It is the only Air Assault Company in the 503rd Military Police Battalion (Airborne) and was officially designated as an Airborne Military Police Company in 2000. The company currently retains both its Airborne and Air Assault designations, making it the Army’s only Airborne and Air Assault Military Police Company. "Even though it's hard to say goodbye, know that (our Soldiers) are becoming a part of history," said 16th MP Brigade Commander, Col. Mary Maier to the audience. photo by Sharilyn Wells / Paraglide

I am sending our daughter in South Korea a care package today. She could get this package in a week or a month, it just depends on when they mail them or send them over with visiting families. This package is special because she turns 1 on Aug. 4! I've included a little outfit (girls clothes are so CUTE), a headband, an Olivia doll, and a birthday card.

This is one of the things that my sister sent in the "care package"... wasabi peas.... i am so addicted to them right now it's not even funny... and i only have one bag! I don't even like horseradish that much, but the spicy hot with the sweet peas is just a good combination.... And they help to wake me back up long enough i can try to get something else done....
