O eclipse da super lua às 4:16:43, quando a Lua já começava a sair da sombra da Terra.
Depois de duas horas de sono, lá resolvi ficar acordada para ver o espectáculo. Aqui fica mais esta minha tentativa, a última das duas que me atrevo a publicar :D

After two hours of sleep, I managed to get up and watch the show. Here's another one of my attempts at shooting the eclipse, the last of the two I dare to post :D

I may have pushed my luck a bit getting this close to her face, but I got away with it, and it was well worth it - it's official, I love my macro lens! :)
Posso ter abusado da sorte quando aproximei tanto a objectiva da cara dela, mas safei-me e valeu bem a pena - é oficial, adoro a minha objectiva macro! :)

As with my other pictures from this time period, I unfortunately have lost the RAW files for this photo. It is a candid taken on a hot summer day at the Carcavelos train station.
I've got nothing much to say about this one - I simply like this light and the way it bathes the rocks :)
Não tenho muito a dizer sobre esta - simplesmente gosto desta luz e da forma como incide nas rochas :)

"Oculus" is Latin for "eye" and, in my mind, it conveys better the idea of a big eye - by any measure, this is a huge green one :D
It belongs to one of my cats, and it just looks really big because I used my macro lens to take the photo. Eyes fascinate me and cat's eyes are amazing :)
"Oculus" significa "olho" em latim e, para mim, transmite melhor a ideia de um olho grande - e sem dúvida que este é um enorme olho verde :D
Pertence a um dos meus gatos e só aparenta ser tão grande porque tirei a fotografia com a minha objectiva macro. Sou fascinada por olhos e os dos gatos são espectaculares :)

I would have loved that storm to come ashore, but it never did. Nonetheless, the quality of the light sure was interesting that day...

This is the 2000th photo I publish on Flickr and it's been 5225 days since I first posted a photo here :)
And it's one that made me think of an "invisible wall" when I noticed the way that wave is crashing in front of the fort of São Julião da Barra. The sun had just come out that day, after many hours of the heavy grey skies that made me decide to go shoot at the beach that November afternoon.
Esta é a 2000ª fotografia que publico no Flickr e passaram 5225 dias desde que publiquei aqui uma foto pela primeira vez :)
E fez-me pensar numa "parede invisível" quando reparei na forma como aquela onda rebentou em frente ao Forte de São Julião da Barra, na Praia de Carcavelos. O sol acabara de espreitar através das nuvens, depois das muitas horas de céu pesado e cinzento que, naquela tarde de Novembro, me fizeram decidir ir fotografar para a praia.
