Anna and I got to check out David Byrne's installation Playing the Building right before it closed.

The details of the Battery Maritime Building was just as interesting as the installation.

Captured with SnagIt for an upcoming blog post

Gooseberry Falls on June 26, 2015

I am obsessed about capturing every space that I am in. Also I do capture performances or spaces on request for a project. I upload the best of the captures on to FLICKR. From these I select a few to write my blogs about the experience, introspection, learning etc. I also use for executing projects in education, performing arts etc.

I create an annual calendar as a tribute to Indian dance and music

So these select captures showcase the broad perspective and spectrum.

Suzdal, Russia, taken on a cold afternoon in April 2009. In the foreg

round, a painter creating a portrait of the onion domed Orthodox churches in the distance.

Finally, finally, finally, I got the light I've been looking for! I've been trying for 15 years to capture the soft morning light that hits the open space just beyond my back fence. I saw it this morning again, so I grabbed my Canon 1D Mark IV which happened to have the 'nifty-fifty' on it, a cheap 50mm f1.8 prime, and I stuck it over the back fence and clicked. This lens takes great pics and is tack sharp.

50mm of course, f7.1, ISO 200, at 1/50 sec. with -2/3 exposure compensation.

The official 'wedding' photograph that was taken by Treya, age 4, towards the end of last summer. Treya created/organised the even, outfits and directed her mum and dad (Karen & Steve Creffield) in the taking of this shot.

Since this photograph Treya has turned 5 (in November) and became the proud owner of her own camera.
