It's a blurry image but I posted it anyway because this part of the exhibition was so moving.

As visitors enter the exhibit halls, they file past this wall which is completely in the dark until suddenly it's lit by flashes of light. This is when you see all these guns pointed at you. Then all goes dark again.

I had to stand here for quite a bit, waiting for the next light burst so I could take a photo. No time to set the exposure.

I went out to the Peony Fields in Gaithersburg. Apparently they started as an ordered garden and then escaped.

My son Kayden.

This was taken last Saturday evening, quite late, he was tired.

It had been a strange and sad day. We were out to lunch with friends and I got a phone call, from the emergency vets. Our cat JoJo had been involved in a car accident and was too poorly so they had to put her down. He couldn't take it all in. Seven years old and his first real loss.

He didn't want to sleep and so Iet him stay up with me, I knew eventually he would fall asleep and then he wouldnt have to worry. 2nd wind kicked in and we did have a mad half an hour laughing and messing around with Coco our other cat, having a joke about the crazy things they both got up to. We took some photos of Coco and looked over old ones of JoJo

He wanted to do his "cool" face for a photo, he very rarely poses anymore, but always loved his "cool" face.

Whilst he looks handsome and cool, I can see very clearly the sadness in his eyes, which in turn makes me sad. It is true that a photograph captures more than the asthetic beauty but a deep sense of soul and thought.

I am obsessed about capturing every space that I am in. Also I do capture performances or spaces on request for a project. I upload the best of the captures on to FLICKR. From these I select a few to write my blogs about the experience, introspection, learning etc. I also use for executing projects in education, performing arts etc.

I create an annual calendar as a tribute to Indian dance and music

So these select captures showcase the broad perspective and spectrum.
