Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, Florida
I almost feel like it's cheating, since he was in captivity, so not as dangerous to be this close when he's behind a fence.... It's a state park that used to be a zoo type of place, so now they have animals that cannot be in the wild (wounded, or interacted with humans, etc).
But don't worry, there will be plenty of pics of wild gators & other animals forthcoming when I get through other pics....
Anacampseros subnuda - growing in captivity - DMC 0891B collected at Wyllie's Poort, South Africa
Caveats - these are grown in a hothouse in some shade and may receive more water than in nature (so may not be as compact or the same colour or shape as in nature). Anacampseros also readily self seed so these may not be original plants as collected.
