This photo and the couple prior were processed using LightRoom 3. It's quick and easy to have a photo come alive and pop in a non-destructive way.
What's funny is this doesn't really look like him to me. The light and shadow area has him looking very wide up front and the flat/forward topknot makes him look like a boxcar.
A true friend. I've had many great dogs in my 7 decades, really blessed. It seems that the eyes link their soul to ours.

South Jersey native, Philly guy & trumpet player extraordinaire Matt Cappy takes a moment from a busy performance schedule to take a few pics for his upcoming album release "Church and State." I love the B&W version of this photo.This series was my first time photographing a musician for an album cover. The single strobe was an homage to the classic photography from the BlueNote record company from the 50s & 60s although the bokeh makes it feel like a jazz album from the late 70s.
