Cape Cod Bay on an unusually rough day

We headed to Linnell Landing Beach to snap some photos at sunset.

This photo is by my sister, Pat Rogers (see www.fotolog.net/colorstalker/?photo_id=9892728). She`s a painter & collage maker (see www.fotolog.net/colorstalker/?photo_id=9791092). This is one of her 1st shots with a new digital Canon. It`s of the marsh near her home in Sandwich on Cape Cod after the recent blizzard. The band of amazing warm white light that bissects the image horizontally is new snow on the dunes. Behind them is Cape Cod Bay. Pat writes: "Trying to share the big storm-just learning." Quick learner.

She had dropped offed (Bonnie & Linda) a just married couple earlier and was peddling up and down the Ptown Streets.

This is my friend's motel in Dennisport, MA (Cape Cod). He's a pilot as well and wanted me to get some aerial shots of his place. The beach is about 100 yards to the lower left of this shot.
