The old man in the red hat, and not so humble speedos, takes a breather on the narrow edge that leads to the veiled Eden that is Plage Mala – a tucked away little stretch of paradise on the French Riviera just between Nice and Monaco. His thoughts are his own but I like to think that they involve some romantic adventure from a bygone era filled to the brim with luxury, danger and desire.

The sea has carved deep holes in the lower part of those rocks. The footpath is not praticable in Winter during storms. Cap d'Ail
Principale arrivée de marchands d'ail en 1848, Cap-d’Ail qui s’appelait avant son érection La Turbie-sur-Mer, était la façade maritime de la commune de La Turbie, avant de s’en détacher en 1908.
Imaginez une piscine à débordement avec vue sur la mer, et, derrière vous, les collines de Cap d'Ail. C'est à la fois dépaysant et ressourçant.
Perchée sur les hauteurs de Cap d'Ail, la résidence Costa Plana vous offre une vue spectaculaire sur la mer Méditerranée. Elle a été conçue par l'architecte avant-gardiste Jean Nouvel et se compose de petits immeubles en pierre marbrière s'étageant dans la végétation luxuriante.
La plage Mala n'est pas la plus facile d'accès avec des enfants ! Mais une fois sur cette plage, on est sur un site hors du commun avec une grande falaise naturelle et des eaux turquoise.
