No caps have been sprayed or fiddled with on purpose, they've all been formed through the normal use of them. Once they get blocked, they're 'finished artworks' in their own right.

The hat of Col. John Carlson, former U.S. Armor Center, and Fort Knox chief of staff and deputy commander. These items are now on display at the Camp Carlson visitor’s center, located near Fort Knox on U.S 60.

NOTE: At the time these types items were made locally. This one was made in Louisville, Kentucky by Louisville Cap Corps. It was trademarked "Top Rank" and used a tank as its emblem. (in next photo)

The Common Bulbul (Pycnonotus barbatus) is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is a ubiquitous resident breeder throughout Africa. Other names include Black-eyed Bulbul and Common Garden Bulbul.

The bulbuls are a widespread family of songbirds, found much over Africa and Asia.

The Common Bulbul has a number of subspecies; some authorities consider P. b. dodsoni (Dodson’s Bulbul), P. b. somaliensis (Somali Bulbul) and P. b. tricolor (Dark-capped Bulbul) as separate species from the nominate P. b. barbatus.
