L’anisodonte du cap, Anisodontea capensis, connue sous le nom de mauve africaine, hibiscus nain, mauve du Cap et fausse mauve, est une plante arbustive de la famille des Malvacées. Proche des mauves et des hibiscus, l’anisodonte du cap pourrait facilement être confondue avec une lavatère arbustive. La mauve du Cap est originaire d’Afrique du sud. Facile de culture, elle est plutôt réservée aux climats méditerranéens ou à la culture en conteneur. De nombreux cultivars sont disponibles dans toutes les nuances de rose.
