An exploration of memory, nostalgia, and the textures of nature.

This piece blends painting with found objects, layered fabrics, and textured elements to recreate the feeling of a crisp autumn fishing day by the lake. The warmth of fading foliage meets the quiet shimmer of water — and somewhere in between, a story unfolds.

Swipe in. Let your eyes wander. What do you notice first?

This image turned out a lot better than I could have wished for - well I think so anyway. The second image I took on a misty, snowy morning at Normanby Park near to Scunthorpe. I was hoping to see the deer in the deer park set against the early morning sun. Alas, they were nowhere to be seen. I had an idea in my head of an image that has been tried by many people over the years. The bleakness of a foggy morning and the almost silhouette gate and fence set against a diffused sun - I'm happy with the result, could almost be classed as a fine art print.

All my images are processed to look their best on my monitor – they may appear slightly darker/lighter on other screens depending on your display settings.

... When your daily afternoon walk offers a view like this, its a good idea to pause and reflect on certain things. Nature offers us the best medium through which we can clarify, meditate, and find a way to uplift ourselves.

A unique moment of artistic expression captured on the vibrant streets of Rome. A talented street artist uses spray paint and fire to create a mesmerizing piece of art on canvas.

The most important lesson I have learned after 13 years of hobbyist & semi pro photography is that . . . You should always strive to be yourself.

A classic 1938 Ford Convertible!

A patriotic scene...with the American Flag proudly displayed on this old vintage abandoned car.

Closer inspection of the Ford will yield a car for parts and not one that has been restored.

The car has been sitting in a field for awhile with the top down and, in a rainy Oregon location that is not good!

Trying something different again, a longer exposure, deliberately out of focus, zoomed (300mm) shot of the evening lights of St Ives. I think i'll use this one as the basis for a painting, something about it seems right for canvas.

Thanks for all the feedback on yesterdays multiple choice question, it's really interesting for me to see how people respond to the different edits.
