When something is so perfect, what do we do wrong in the upbringing of our children?
Perhaps it has to do with:
All the unnecessary yelling instead of actually talking to each other.
Using the You-word, like "You are stupid", instead of being constructive.
Letting our kids have so many activities that there is no time to being bored, no time to dwell and think.
Letting the kids think that "I always need to be good for them to love me".
Could we please stop ruining meals because the grown ups need to talk about serious stuff.
Food never tastes good when there is arguing at the table.
All the evil stuff kids say to each other will probably diminish if every grown up is there for their own child.
Using our spare time to be there for them, does not necessarily mean that you shall build them a castle in the forest, cause that is often not bonding, that is for you to think that you have had quality time with the kids, while they have stood watching.
Just be there, sit together and the child's inner thoughts will come and then you will see Who your child actually is, and may be see what they are struggling with.
Be patient tho, please - Things Take Time TTT 🤔
Many things give us low self esteem which we will struggle with until we manage to deal with it.
Questions like what were they struggling with, the ones that said these awful things to me, might help. What is mine and what is theirs. We don't need to deal with others' stuff, let them deal with it themselves.
Deal with your own stuff, that is normally enough.
Finding the family patterns are very interesting. "We are shy in our family", "We have temper in our family", well it's time to stop and sort it out and use the scissors to cut off the patterns.
Don't bring it on to your children.
You need to start with yourself ♥
All the stuff I am dealing with from my past I often find the answers on either in meditation or out hiking.
Lol, no wonder I am out hiking for hours with all that shit I need to sort out 😂😂😂

The other day I was checking out some crochet photos on Flickr. I came across MOONSTITCHES mangetsu's pictures that showcased some hard work on, what I thought, an awesome pattern. I was obessed from that point on.
I had to get that pattern. In one of the pics, MOONSTITCHES mangetsu gave the name of the book, but I had to have the pattern right then, RIGHT NOW. I litterally stared at the screen studying those beautiful hexagons for what seemed like years.
I finally got it.

I am using good ol'red heart worsted yarn with a I/9-5.50MM hook. I am simply sc'ing them together from the back.

I've gone over the deep end..but I think this may be my very favorite picture ever.
Macro Mondays, Motion Blur - HMM!
This presented a few challenges :-) I love using motion blur and often use it for street shots, so the technique wasn't the issue, but the macro aspect was a bit of a challenge as Smurfette's car kept heading the wrong way and I realised after a number of attempts that I just wasn't going to get as tight a shot as I'd have liked. I had a lot of fun though!
Thank you in advance for any comments and/or favourites. I'm a bit busy this week as I'm packing boxes in preparation for our move next month - finally, after a 1 month delay due to paperwork, blah, blah, blah. I may be missing the odd MM challenge over the next couple of months until I'm settled in and sorted out at the other end, but will endeavour to pop in and at least fave posts when I can.
