Cyanotype on paper.
Original negative was done with Mamiya Super 23 camera and ILford film (cant remember which one..)
Exposed for about 10min
Treated with Hydrogen Peroxide for more intense blue..
Bleached in sodium carbonate for 10min and then toned in green tea for half hour.
Paper i used is Canson Montval 300g
Dimensions of the actual print is 28 x 20cm (11 x 8") and the whole paper is 32x24cm (12,5 x 9,5")

My fisrt attempt at an anthotype, a alternative photographic technique using plant derived pigment for the emulsion.
The emulsion was created by macerating a large handful of corn poppy (Papaver rhoeas) petals in a pestle. Vodka was then added (approx 50ml - perhaps too much) and the mixture left to infuse for 24h. The emulsion was then filtered using a coffee filter.
Canson Montval Aquarelle Tradition (NOT) watercolour paper was coated using a mixture of brushing and soaking. Three separate coats were added, with the paper being left to dry between coats.
A digital positive was created from a 35mm photograph using Pictorico OHP film. The photograph is of the big wheel in Osaka.
The anthotype was then contact printed for three and a half typical British summer days (a mixture of cloud, sun and pouring rain).
