A deep hoar frost locally yesterday provided some ideal winter shooting opportunities.
I was attracted to these two trees, each of which were leaning into the direction of the other.
I would have preferred not to have had the clouds on the horizon (which brought snow further east), and just have, for a change, a clear blue sky so that the lower parts of the trees stood out more. But it was just great in any event to have these conditions to shoot.

In het Fokstrumyra natuurreservaat nabij Oppdal heb ik deze doorweekte Blauwborst(man) kunnen fotograferen.
Fokstumyra Nature Reserve is een natuurreservaat opgericht in 1923 in Dovrefjell, in de gemeente Dovre. Het beslaat een oppervlakte van acht km² aan wetlands en was het eerste natuurreservaat in Noorwegen. Het gebied staat bekend om zijn rijke vogelfauna en plantendiversiteit.

De Kolufossar (Kolufoss) waterval, van zo’n 8 meter hoog, ligt in de Kolugljúfur kloof. Deze kloof, waar de rivier Víðidalsá doorheen stroomt, is meer dan 1 kilometer lang en zo’n 40 tot 50 meter diep.

Spring tides have nothing to do with the season, but are more to do with the moon’s cycle. With all that said, the trees were blossoming, the tide was high, and the full moon had just set. So by all accounts, a Spring Tide!
