Legend says that Atlantis city was built by Poseidon, god of sea when he fell in love with a mortal woman Cleito. He made this city on top of a nearby hill and named it Atlantis. It is believed that he walked through these islands until he reached the biggest of them all- Atlantis and found it to be inhabited by people more beautiful and intelligent than rest of the world. It is here he first saw his future wife and fell in love with her.

I had three cape daisies last year but a week of heavy frost killed them off in the winter. A neighbour has one that's thrived for years so I'm not sure what I did wrong. Well, I bought three new ones, and this is my favourite.
Any evening shot from Stanley Park looking at the skyline of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This is one of my favourite places. I spent a lot of time in this area growing up.

Tamron 70-210mm F4 Di VC Test Shots in Color
06/04/2023
Canon 6D with Tamron 70-210mm F4
I picked up this lens during the past winter and only have taken it out once that I can recall. I wanted to give the lens a more thorough test drive.
So far, it hasn't disappointed.
I bought it gently used for a fraction of the MSRP. It was missing the F/R lens caps, but I had a spare set hanging around.
Pairing it with my 6D has provided quite pleasing images as long as I do my part.
Hope you enjoy!

INTERESTING FACTS Bee-eater.
The bee-eater is a bird that can lose a third of its beak length during the process of digging its nest.
It is one of the most colorful and striking species of our fauna, characterized by its incessant song, which can be heard from great distances.
The bee-eater's nest is usually dug into the ground and can reach a depth of one meter. During this digging process, in which males and females take turns, this bird can lose up to a third of its beak length.
Specifically, while one watches, the other digs, and vice versa, dislodging up to 13 kilos of earth with its feet.
