Canoa Quebrada, já foi o local preferido dos hippies e artesãos do mundo todo, é por esta razão que hoje Canoa tem uma diversidade maior do que em outras regiões. Os artesãos que moram em Canoa foram desenvolvendo e aprimorando diferentes técnicas para criar produtos diferenciados. Além do já bem conceituado artesanato local, alguns trabalhos se destacam pela técnica original, muito procurada por turistas estrangeiros.
Repleta de belezas naturais, piscinas naturais formadas durante a maré baixa, dunas, grandes falésias avermelhadas, mar de águas mornas e um espetáculo da natureza a ser apreciado pelas dunas, um pôr do sol que fascina a todos seus visitantes. Ver o por do sol do alto das dunas em clima romântico é um dos atrativos de Canoa.
UM PARAÍSO NO CEARÁ
Ventos constantes durante todo o ano são especialmente apreciados por aqueles que praticam esportes náuticos, como Kitesurf e Windsurfe e, principalmente para vôos livres de Parapente ou de paramotor, dos quais falaremos em detalhes a seguir.
Às vezes dá a impressão de que Canoa parou no tempo. Os nativos dessa bela praia costumam até hoje pescar de jangada no mar, em um cenário de cartão postal. Aliás, belezas não faltam em Canoa Quebrada. Lugar animado com gente bonita, o turista não sabe para onde olhar tamanha as belezas da sua paisagem natural. Dunas, falésias, o mar… Tudo isto compõe o visual incrível de Canoa Quebrada.
O povo do lugar é hospitaleiro e simpático e recebem os turistas de braços abertos. Há uma boa infra-estrutura de barracas na praia e pousadas e hotéis para todos os gostos.
Em Canoa Quebrada faz sol sempre. Mesmo nos meses em que chove mais, a temperatura fica entre 27º e 30º graus e as pancadas geralmente ocorrem pela noite. Nada que atrapalhe o delicioso e sagrado banho de mar dos turistas.
E diversão não falta. Entre as dunas de areias brancas e fofas, existem lagoas incrustadas. E, além disso, são nas dunas que os mais emocionantes passeios são realizados, como os de bugre e quadriciclo. Nas falésias, para quem não está contente ainda com o tamanho da diversão e aventura, as correntes de ar favorecem a prática de parapente e kitesurf. Não deixe de experimentar a deliciosa culinária de Canoa Quebrada. Frutos do mar é a especialidade. E de noite, não perca! Você precisa conhecer a Broadway! Para quem não conhece, esta é a única rua do lugar e o ponto de encontro dos bares, restaurantes, boates. A curtição começa pelas dez horas da noite, vara a madrugada e só termina quando a manhã chega. Venha dançar forró, dance, rock e axé! Não tem como ficar parado. E o melhor de tudo, é que todo dia tem mais!

É um lugar de magia que surpreendem a todos com tanta animação e beleza paradisíaca! As dunas, falésias, mar e sol brilhante são inesgotáveis fontes de energia e inspiração, tornando-se assim um paraíso para quem quiser se deixar conquistar por essa sedução.
Canoa Quebrada foi descoberta para o turismo nos anos 70. Hippies encontraram em Canoa, lugar quase inacessível, um povo simples e hospitaleiro. Até hoje os nativos preservam a tradição de pescar com jangadas no mar. Mesmo se transformando de aldeia de pescadores para um lugar turístico, Canoa não perdeu o seu encanto.
Quem conhece Canoa Quebrada sempre volta, e quem não conhece verá nessa reportagem, que poderá ser uma aventura inesquecível! E não perderá a oportunidade de conhecer Canoa logo que surja.
