The bar services the Hotel Solero Patrons on the beach. The patrons have time share accommodations and the time share rates are all inclusive.

Made a short trip to Cancun this week. Weather was mostly uncooperative but made for a few interesting photos.

Gulls circle Punta Cancún Lighthouse on the coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. It's unclear if they were looking for fish or making a pass at the bikini clad photographer standing on the rock :)

It's off to Cancun! This is the view from our room at the Dreams Resort in Cancun!

We had the best room on the resort, right on the corner of the "L" of Cancun!

Hope you enjoy this series as well my friends!

This is the pool bar that was at our resort in Cancun. Again, can't tell you how exciting it was! I think I actually like this one a bit better, you didn't even really have to get out of the water!

Thanks to John (T i s d a l e) for reminding me of this great quote!

Enjoy your weekend my friends!

This was a great gift to me. This one was taken from the hotel little porch, as he got really close to the metallic frame surrounding it. This Frigatebirds are absolutely gorgeous, specially their long tails and their majestic flight.

If you want to know more about them, visit this site, the information is amazing:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frigatebird

Watch them interact among them, no danger to people, APARENTLY, but very fierce towards each other at times...

My thanks to Dave W. who identified this bird for me!

As you can see, the background is the beautiful Riviera Maya, Cancun, and oh, (sigh) the sun was starting to shine, and the breeze was drying the fine rain that came down a few minutes earlier. You can tell by the amount of people behind, that non of us wanted to stay indoors, for what is a small rainy cloud when you are at a beach like this one...

I think this song goes perfectly with this image...

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY PHOTOGRAPHY:

I enjoy nature photography the most, since I love the outdoors and long hiking trips. Macro photography is a true passion for me, since I get to watch a miniature world that opens without limits, before the camera makes the funny sound…

Graphic design is another way to express myself. I love reinventing a photo that I have seen in different ways.

Textures. I have a few of my own, and love finding and creating them, since they will transform a photo into a totally different one.

EXPLORE:

More of one hundred of my photos made it to Explore. One appeared on the front page, and others at 14, 25 and 52. If you’d like to see them, please go to my Explore set.

MY MAIN GOAL:

Is to learn more and more of this wonderful art. After the indoor lessons, comes the second step of learning, making the mistakes, and then learning the way of fixing them!

TO MY FRIENDS:

Flicker has giving me opportunity to meet a group of wonderful people. Thanks for making me feel so proud of what I do and love.

It always happens, in the middle of winter, we look back an we remember days in the sun, past vacations and warmth weather. I have a unique weakness for rain, and rain like this one, half way to the beach, it really makes me stare and almost feel the raindrops falling on me...

Remember this one:

Don't worry baby

Everything will turn out alright..."

I'm just coming back from a wonderful vacation in beautiful Cancun Mexico, and even though I took photos of lovely sunny days, somehow this one gives me a different pleasure to watch. Maybe the peacefulness of the image, the rain and wind making their way to the beach...

I hope everyone is doing fine. Summer has been a good one here in the USA, unusually hot and humid, and the grass grows without limits, but the flowers are lovely, and this year the butterflies have come in bigger numbers.

Looking forward to visit you all!

Doing some surfing on the net I found an awesome piece of history. The music is awesome, don't miss this:

Another shot from the hotel that I stayed in my previous trip to Cancun. It was so peaceful to just sit and listen to the ocean and watch the sun rise!

I think that I caught up with everyone's uploads, if I didn't I do apologize, I will be taking another look through all of your amazing streams just to be sure!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your week!!!

One the most exiting experiences offered in Cancún, México. Anchored from a boat, these gorgeous balloons offer to the tourist a gorgeous view of the ocean.

Many forms, many colors, but the same purpose, to show the beauty and color of this wonderful paradise...

Up, up and away!

I was standing in the same spot as my previous upload, just turned a bit to the right!

This is the walkway that people went out on if they paid to play with the dolphins, which lived in the sectioned off area on the left. $150 for 15 minutes didn't seem worth it to me, although there were always a ton of people signed up!

Thanks for stopping by my friends!
