On my recent trip to Death Valley, something clicked. Watching the sun rise over the desert really changed the way I see light and how it paints the landscape, literally. As the sun rose over the mountains in the distance, I witnessed the sand change so many different colors in a very short period of time--pink, white, light blue, yellow, and a thousand shades in between. Honestly, it was my favorite part of the park. Check out this view of the sand dunes, and enjoy my latest series of photos illustrating sunrise over the dunes of Death Valley.
