Macro Mondays - Magnetic

Happy Macro Monday everyone :)

The only magnet I could find in the house was on my camera strap ... I don't have a single fridge magnet, as the fridge door has a wooden outer, so not a lot point in having fridge magnets :)))

For this week's MacroMondays challenge "Stitch".

If you want the best camera strap. Peak Design is it IMHO. A wonderful gift from my son <3. The red dot and strap securely attach to camera, it is posed here for the shoot.

A previously unpublished shot from July 2018. I have always preferred Canon over Nikon but I honestly cannot tell you why. Wishing you all a great weekend of photography whatever your camera of choice. :)

Macro Mondays - Leather

Happy Macro Monday everyone.

Not sure if this is real leather or a very good imitation, but hopefully it'll do :) It's the end of the wrist strap on my Olly Pen-F.

I'm off out for the day and will try and catch up with everyone this evening ... tiz a Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK and I'm going to the Jack in the Green festivities in Hastings.

worn camera strap for Macro Mondays

This is not my camera and set up.....As I waked by it, the lens and background caught my camera's eye :)

I appreciate your kind words of support and would like to thank-you all, for taking the time to view and acknowledge my photography.

Ongoing saga. After 2 curious bear cubs approached us directly we slowly backed off leaving behind out tripods and some of us are cameras on the tripods. The bears were quite interested in and curious about the tripods and cameras.

The camera strap that I inherited from my father, when he finally gave me his old camera. I used it when I had my Fuji, sadly the clips are too big for my Panasonic.

Maybe view large, and thank you for your favourites. :)

Black & yellow on camera strap.

This photo goes back to 2015 and I don’t know why I took it.

Now I found it in the gallery and thought it would go with the theme.

Well, I'm trading in my converse and vans for flats :P

They're part of my uniform, so I have to wear them. Today, however, we were allowed to be out of uniform. There are so many girls in my class, about 150 O_x Such a big change from the 30 kids in my grade.

Freshman orientation was fun today! I met most of my teachers that I'll have for this semester, and I guess they seem nice.

Other than that it was pretty normal.

Paulina and I had to walk about 15 blocks back from school to my house. My feet hurt and I got blisters :P

Ew, tomorrow I have to wear full on uniform :P

The camera strap was a coincident, but I thought it looked cool :)

Accessory for my camera. I've wanted one for a long time, finally ordered it from My Camera Couture. Love it.

We visited with Dad & Mom for Father's Day a while today- played with their new puppy, Jase. OMG! She did everything she could think of to keep me engaged! NOT the camera, Jase! NO NO! Bad dog! LOL! :)

My daughters bought me this colorful camera strap for Christmas a few years ago. (1.5” wide) This is a free advertisement for Capturing Couture. 😊 HMM!

Macro Monday Theme: Photography Gear

Last week me and the little lady (Andrezza :) headed down to the bay to capture the sunset. It had been some time since we visited this spot. We forgot how photogenic it is. I caught her in a moment between photos just enjoying the beauty of the evening.

It's Portrait Thursday over at TWTME, but how about a portrait of my little Pentax instead? :) We've traversed the US together several times and even traveled as far as the Czech Republic, China, and Tibet -- all in under two years. Wild! I love this thing. It made the time I spent digital camera-less fun rather than torturous, not to mention that it makes magic happen on 35mm.

Happy Thursday! :)

We came across a bench at 4th of July Campground where I thought I'd put down the cameras I was already carrying, and pull out the one with the Helios lens and extension tube.

Got that camera out to find a small Maple leaf had drifted down onto the X-T3's strap.

Happy Mittwochsmakro!

My dad who is a real cowboy, master Ferrier and settled Smith made me this handmade hand tooled Leather camera sling for Christmas. It is paired it with sheepskin and is very comfortable.

A little package containing these is on its way to your house. I hope you love it!

Lovely camerastrap handmade by Tobias Müller - Grained Goods

Group: Macro Mondays

Theme: Buckle

This is the buckle from a camera strap by OP/TECH USA. Three cameras, three straps. One might imply from that that I like the straps, and they would be correct. The shoulder/neck part of the strap is a flexible foam that lightens the stress from carrying it around the neck.

Happy Macro Monday to all!

There's nothing better than a vintage camera loaded with a good and old Kodak film to photography the world.
