The kids passports expire this summer. I took their passport pictures today. The difference in five years is huge.
I thought somebody might chase me off (stranger photographing kids in the park...) but I wanted to work on shutter button timing and the batter seemed like a great chance to do it.
Luckily nobody decided I looked like a pervert, and it only took me two tries to capture this moment.
Bummed about the bit of chain link from the fence, but I didn't like the severe crop needed to get rid of it.

oohemma: I have visited Fayetteville only once and that's all it took for me to fall in love. It's such a beautiful place!!
hillarygayle: @oohemma absolutely. We visit every chance we get, & each time we leave I feel homesick. I think I may be meant to live there. Bryan & I are already talking about retiring to Eureka Springs.
oohemma: @hillarygayle I would not mind living there at all. I prefer living by the ocean, but northern AR is the exception.
