NU! Filmmakers tijdens Covid-19 crisis – Vijf filmmakers ‘gegijzeld’ door het Covid 19 virus. Hoe zijn ze nu bezig, hoe zien ze de toekomst? ...Daarna speeddaten.
Het Nieuwe Filmers filmcafé #1 van dit seizoen gaat over professionele jonge filmmakers, nu tijdens deze surrealistische COVID-19 tijd. In het project – Creataine: Filmmakers – laten ze in 5 korte videofilmpjes van maximaal 3 min, zien hoe ze ‘omgaan’ met deze crisis. Geen kommer en kwel, maar met de focus op de positieve dingen die gebeuren!
Filmcafe #1 kwam tot stand i.s.m. Didi Spaans creatief producent en masterstudent letterkunde en Lisa de Bye regisseur en producent. Didi Spaans heeft tijdens de quartantaine onderzoek verricht onder filmmakers. Samen bedachten ze het – Creatine: Filmmakers – project met de 5 korte documentaire filmpjes gemaakt door filmmakers gegijzeld door het Covid-19 virus. Op woensdag 20 mei waren beide te gast in het online Filmcafé en sprak onze host Cheryl Mauer in een livestream uitzending hierover met hen en de 5 filmmakers. De interviews zijn afgewisseld met filmmuziek verrassingen door Dj Losse Veter. Tijdens de live uitzending kon het publiek vragen stellen via de chat.
