The other day we had a beautiful sunrise. I shot this with my iPhone using the wide-angle on my Olloclip 3-in-1 lens.

Today's image was taken in the Longford area of Coventry. The view is of a Narrow Boat moored up near the rear of the Longford Engine pub. I liked the reflection of both the boat and the pub in the Canal.
The photo was taken using the app Camera Awesome on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the image. I cropped the photo and applied the Tonal Contrast preset. I then added some extra Saturation, ambiance and warmth. Next I used the app Painteresque to apply a custom version of the Painteresque 2 preset. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Tone preset, the Vibrant FX, a small dark vignette. I then added the Stucco texture and the Charcoal frame.

Today's image was taken early this afternoon in the Crypt of the Grade I listed St John the Baptist Church in the Village of Berkswell. The view is of the doorway to the Crypt and the stone steps that lead down to it the the main floor of the Church above. The crypt is the oldest part of the church with part of it dating back to Saxon times in the 8th century.
The photo was taken using the app Camera Awesome on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the picture. I cropped the image and applied the Tonal Contrast preset. I then decreased the highlights and boosted the Contrast, Saturation and Ambiance. I then sharpened the picture and added a little Structure. Next I used Mextures to add the Wet Plate 2.0 formula by Jordy Van Solm. After this I used DistressedFX to add the Cole overlay and the Vanilla texture. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Contrast preset, the Drama FX and an Extra Large Dark Vignette. I then added the Old Paper texture and the Antique frame.

Today's photo was taken this morning at the Coventry Transport Museum. The view is a close up Macro style shot of the Rolls-Royce Avon engine that powered the record breaking Trust 2. Designed by John Akroyd and Driven by Richard Noble the car went on to break the Land Speed record at 633.468 mph on 4th October 1983. Thrust 2 held the Land Speed record until 15th October 1997 when it was surpassed by Thrust SSC which was designed in part by Richard Noble and Driven by Squadron Leader Andy Green.

First I used the app Snapseed to edit the picture. I cropped the image and applied the Tonal Contrast preset. I then used the selective edit feature to boost the Brightness, Contrast and Saturation of the engine turbine. I also used the Lens Blur feature to help highlight the engine and blur out the background. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Clarify preset and a medium Dark Vignette. I then added the Stacked frame.

Today's image was taken this afternoon in between Westwood Heath and Kenilworth. The view is of a few Cows grazing in a field of a local farm.
The photo was taken using the app Camera Awesome on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Lightroom mobile to edit the photo. I cropped and straightened the image and applied the Dynamic colour preset. I then changed the White Balance and decreased the Highlights to help bring out the details in the clouds. I also applied the Dehaze feature to image along with boosting the Saturation and Vibrance. Next I used the app Painteresque to apply the Painteresque 2 painterly preset to the image. Finally I used the app AltPhoto to add the Technicolor (Three-strip) Vintage Colour preset and frame.
The image today is of a Grade II* Listed Chapel in the London Road Cemetery in Coventry. The name of the building is The Anglican Chapel. The Chapel was built in the Mid 19th Century. It is one of two Grade II* Listed Chapels in the Cemetery.
The photo was taken using the App VividHDR on my iPhone 6.
Firstly I used the App Camera Awesome to edit the image. The edits were made by applying the Awesomize setting to the image. Next I used the same App to apply the Prime preset and crop the image. After that I used DistressedFX to add extra texture to the image using the Stirred overlay and the Reckoning Texture. I flattened the image and then added some more of the Stirred overlay plus the Karma texture. Finally I used the App PhotoToaster to apply a dark Vignette plus the paper texture. I then used the Shadow II frame on the picture.
Today's image was taken this morning in Hawkesbury Village near to the edge of Coventry. The view is looking along Coventry Canal toward the the area of Longford. A nice peaceful scene with a couple of Narrowboats moored alongside the towpath.

First I used the app Handy Photo to edit the picture. I used the retouch feature to erase all the overhead power lines that cut across the skyline over the Canal. Next I used Snapseed to further edit the image. I cropped the picture, then applied the Tonal Contrast preset. I then decreased the Highlights a little and boosted the Saturation, Warmth, Contrast and Ambiance. Next I used the app PicsArt to apply the artistic Oil Painting FX and a little of the Denoise function in the corrections tab. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Warm preset, the Vibrant FX and the Small Dark Vignette. I then applied the Stucco texture and the Leather frame.
