Left-hand camera was a Christmas present. Made from a kit, 35mm film. Other is my Bronica 120mm camera.

Opened in 1938 on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood the Morgan Camera Shop was owned and operated by Gilbert Morgan. the shop was a full service camera store that sold cameras, lenses, film and pretty much anything to so with film photography and developing. The shop finally closed in the early 2000's and has sat vacant ever since and is a kind of sad standing fixture to a bygone era. Update: 2020 The Camera shop now looks very different it's been mostly painted over and you wouldn't know what the place had been.

Here's a link about the shop when it was in business: www.library.ucla.edu/blog/special/2017/04/18/the-morgan-c...

In the heart of winter, she strolled through the snow-covered streets with her signature boldness. While others clutched steaming drinks to keep warm, she proudly held a Frozen Peach—a playful twist that perfectly complemented her unique style. Because who said you can't enjoy a frosty cocktail beneath a flurry of snowflakes? That winter evening, she owned the scene with elegance and charm, dressed to conquer the snowy backdrop like a true fashion icon.

With my camera by my side, I hope to see things that starve me. Travel to the ends of the earth, explore and love to my very last breath. I hope you do the same.

For the RogueOlympics on www.RogeuBricks.de I built a camera with only 101 parts, which you can find on my stream.

I liked this first 101 parts MOC so much, that I decided to build it again - but then without part limit.

The camera itself is only build with LEGO parts and, the Nintendo set tiles fitting perfectly for the screen on the backside. Also the objektive is brick build in this one.

I bought this off ebay for the shutter (which didn't work) and left the bellows in place to have a go at a 'zoom' pinhole camera. It has three presets 30mm, 40mm, and 60mm.

Experiment: Toy camera effect applied. Below is the original. Which do you like better?

It's been a while since we've posted a 35mm shot here. We tend to show a lot of love to medium format and instant film (for obvious reasons) but Michelle's trusty 35mm has been known to produce some sweet flare+grain action! Taken in possibly our new favourite shoot location.

You can't tell from this photo but this display is vertical, mounted on the wall of Downtown Camera on Queen St. in Toronto. I thought it was amazing to see.

We've had this little vintage brownie for ages and it's sat happily on my book shelf until Immy asked to take my photo. Think it makes rather a sweet prop.
