Here's the newest addition to my Mini Camera series! The SLR (Single Lens Reflex) was the camera standard for professional photographers before the onset of digital imaging, using film to capture a photo.
And speaking of film, well… this model's got a fun secret that I'll share with you tomorrow. :)

For the RogueOlympics on www.RogeuBricks.de I built a camera with only 101 parts, which you can find on my stream.
I liked this first 101 parts MOC so much, that I decided to build it again - but then without part limit.
The camera itself is only build with LEGO parts and, the Nintendo set tiles fitting perfectly for the screen on the backside. Also the objektive is brick build in this one.

I bought this off ebay for the shutter (which didn't work) and left the bellows in place to have a go at a 'zoom' pinhole camera. It has three presets 30mm, 40mm, and 60mm.
It's been a while since we've posted a 35mm shot here. We tend to show a lot of love to medium format and instant film (for obvious reasons) but Michelle's trusty 35mm has been known to produce some sweet flare+grain action! Taken in possibly our new favourite shoot location.
Taken on the Nikon EM + Kodak Ektar 100.

Climbing the narrow spiral stairs of the University Church of St Mary the Virgin is worth the effort! The view over Radcliffe Square is unbeatable.
From up here, you get a perfect angle of the Radcliffe Camera, built in the mid-18th century by James Gibbs. Designed in a striking Palladian style, it was originally funded by royal physician John Radcliffe and now serves as a reading room for the Bodleian Library.
