The calender may say fall, but these dahlias were still blooming strong. Both Wanda and I have posted images of flowers from here - but this image shows all the flowers as they look from the end of the garden. It's one of our favorite places to go in late summer and early fall.

2nd November 2020:

I usually only look at the International Days on the online calender and then as I'm uploading look at the other days for the Silly News.

When I checked this morning, there weren't any special things on for today. Oh no, it's too windy to get out and there's nothing in the garden to photo either.

I looked at the National days and found that it was Colour the world Orange Day. Dug into the Teddy B boxes and bags, found my orange crayon and had my photo of the day - nationaldaycalendar.com/color-the-world-orange-day-first-...

December morning sunrise, it only lasted a few minutes and was gone in a blink of the eye.

The hedge on the left becomes a fence so you can sit on the seat and look down the Lune Valley towards Middleton and Barbon.The road meanders to the right through Howgill to Low Borrow Bridge.In the center is Lowgill Viaduct,the little white dots above it are on the M6 Motorway. The two sunlit hills are on the right Grayrigg Common and on the left Whinfell Common. 44
