There was a snapper tearing up the grass in the back yard when we woke up. When I took Calee to her room near the front of the house she kept yelling turtle. When I looked out there was another one on the front yard. All in all they dug 6 holes and planted 5 eggs in one nest near the driveway. When we looked them up online it said the average snapper would lay 25-30 eggs so I don't think she was done. At any rate I picked them both up by their tails and put them into a 5 gallon bucket and dumped them back in the pond. I think I'm going to have to move them both to a lake nearby in order to save the lawn.

Maria turned 21. We were there to celebrate — skirts and all (except Calee..she was smarter than to wear a skirt while drinking). Shoes came off hours later and the night was a success. ;)
