Calculations based on reported figures - null weighting for non-slate; 15% non- slate, 25% non-slate
finally!!!....okay, actually the calculation is not that hard lerrrr...saje put a commotion...kekeke~ this note is for my future usage....if I forgot how easy it is to calculate NJ...but, we still need the matrix from UPGMA...~ even the process of NJ is longer campare to UPGMA, the result able to show the real divergency of the bifurcating process...~ PS: just finishes understanding the distance matrix for dissimilarity of pairwise sequences....feeling suffocate at first, but, once we understand the rules, actually agak okay to understand...but, still I need my note if people ask me to teach them...kekeke...see...how hard the "easy" term for a person named jiha....lalala...^^~
Working with Year 3 & 4 pupils to improve calculation using the visual arts as inspiration. An outdoor Maths project with the enquiry concentrating on improving learning and applying calculation in real situations. The school wanted to move away from its narrow focus upon learning times tables in the classroom and use the numerical potentials of the park and its facilities to provide ‘real life’ maths exercises. Pupils had their Maths lessons outdoors which gave them the opportunity to work in a range of areas including shape, measurement, scale, estimating, area, perimeter, tessellation, direction and cost/money.

If my (rather poor) calculations are right and assuming he's going 300 knots and the fact that this looks like an 80 degree bank turn the pilot would be experiencing 5.7G's.
Further assuming the standard issue pilot weight of 180 pounds that would mean the pilot was experiencing an effective weight of 1026lbs. It's truly amazing they don't pass out!

Napier’s Bones
John Napier could be said to have invented the forerunner of the computer.
The difficulty of multiplying very large numbers was simplified by John Napier, a Scots mathematician, who published the first table of logarithms in 1614 which was immediately recognised as being a powerful computational tool.
He went on to devise calculating rods to carry out this process and to help introduce beginners to arithmetic. These later became known as Napiers’ Bones, and described by the inventor in his work, Rabdologiae, published in 1617.
Using the rods or “bones” calculations can be made quickly and easily by turning the rods to the correct positions. These early calculators were made of rectangular strips of bone, metal or box wood
This time, one of our clients gave us a circuit board and asked to create a fitting enclosure. We made the necessary calculations, modeled the part, and then printed it with green ABS from BestFilament on a Picaso XPRO 3D printer.
